What do you think about it ?

No comments for feedback? Bad enough they are nerfing the shaman class with this bleedthrough crap after the class was useless for years, can you not fix basic spells after 12 years a class in the game?

There was a time when shaman's were not very good. I mean defiler could always hold its own. But druids were kind of top dogs for a while. Want to say SF/ Dov era.

There is a HUGE difference between 'useless' and 'not king of the hill'... And the only semi-recent expansion where druids were stronger then shaman was ToV (Tears of Veeshan). During SF and DoV shaman were still top dog.

They were getting out healed by druids, Out dpsed by druids and inquis. And lacked the aoe prevents/cures of druids or clerics. Any class at any time can be used. But useless seems to mean bottom tier healers which they were for a while.

if that's the case, the druids have been 'useless' for 80%+ of the game... since, given the healing mechanics, druid heals are always counted last...
If the only/main thing a person looks at to determine 'usefulness' of a healer is the heal parse, that person is using a SERIOUSLY flawed meter-stick.

I never mentioned a parse.. I have taken every healer through every heroic zone in both those expansion. And the least well performing ones due to its tool-set were shamans. When I think of a group setup generally I'm thinking of a solo healer a tank utility (maybe) and dps. If your talking about two healers then yes shaman is always useful. But in both those expansion even with two healers, shamans were getting out healed and FAR OUTCLASSED in all other utility. Their wards did not benifit from full CB at the time, they lacked two group cures, had no aoe blocks, mystics had a worse buff package than inquis and did less dps.

How many ways would you like me to tell you they stunk during those expansions? Dov was especially dot heavy, some people died within one tick.

I was in three raid guilds during that expansion, and they all dropped their defiler and ran warden/temp.

I was playing during DoV and none of the shaman I played with struggled in DoV. The only expansion I saw shaman struggling to solo heal was in some ToV content.

Not sure if your memory serves correctly. But shamans were in an awful place then.. There were cries for a second group cure, and many many shamans started playing inquis or warden.

And don't quote me but i believe the cb restriction got lifted in Tov. My Shamans had no problem in Tov.
