I just finished a 2-day binge to finish my Mara inspired house. It is in Trimia's simple Maj'Dul apartment on the Everfrost server (listed in small homes the Hall of Fame on the leaderboards, named Modern Wantia Abode).

Since it's a two room house I almost busted the item count just getting in all of the walls, ceilings, floors and the stove. After using a crafted +100 expander I was able to put in some actual furniture. The stove is my favorite part, and while the ceiling and walls took a lot of work (I'm very slow with the layout editor), the stove was the hardest to get to my happy point.

For this home I wanted to try and make it akin to the Mara houses but with some modernized upgrades. First I'd like to share two screenshots I took in the Village of Shin and used for reference as I was building this:

Now onto the Modern Wantia Abode!

My other home that I published a few days ago I have been working on for a while. I really didn't do anything too elaborate to this one. When I first saw the second level of the Astronomer's tower I thought, this would be a great place for a bar! It ended up as a restaurant/grill on the lower level, bar on the second, and casino on the top level.

This home is at Trimia's Astronomer's Tower in South Qeynos on the Everfrost server. It is listed on the leaderboards under Medium Homes the Hall of Fame and is called Refreshment in Maj'Dul.

Thanks for looking!

Another +1 for the stove. I have a fascination for those types of very old stoves in real life but never thougt about how cool they would be in-game until now. SMILEY

As for the houses they are quite charming and inviting.

Great work!

Thank you all! SMILEY

The stove is mostly plain fulginate tiles with a few dividers as well, then quicksilver vases for the burners and halasian andirons for the fire. I'm hoping we get fulginate as one of our building block types so I can improve on the chimney *fingers crossed*!

Wow you did an amazing job recreating the Mara look. The other day I was regretting that we did not have means in game to do that, but you just gave me hope! I love your ceiling details and choice of walls particularly, very natural and Zen
