Betrayal / Subclass change

I don't know if this is the right forum or not but I am going to ask.

I am currently a Freeblood Coercer and I just betrayed New Halas. I did this so that I could change my class to Illusionist. I have done the betrayal up to the point that I can do the Qeynos Citizenship quest.

I am sitting at the Illusionist Trainer in Qeynos and they tell me to get lost. What am I supposed to do now or what did I do wrong?

Well. You can't betray to New Halas. So I'm guessing you just changed from Qeynos or GFay.

You have to go into exile then earn faction back with Q or Gfay.

the last step of the Qeynos citizenship quest line sends you to the trainer , then you can transfer to New Halas

Sorry wrong terminology...I am in Haven and have reched the point that I can do the citizenship quest for Qeynos. Do I get this option during that quest?

You need to go talk to Gil McMartin at -923, -47, 13 in the Commonlands, at the road towers not too far from the FP gates. He'll start you off with the faction needed for Qeynos.
