If you mean by "original" that it looks uglier than any of the other hats - you're correct. If mean that it looks original to a conjuror, like it would like like a conjuror hat should look like then you're completely wrong.

I'm still under the impression that we are a cloth class. And this hat would be the only metal thing that I can wear. I know that it's only the face that is covered by metal but still it's wrong. And not needed at all for. I don't need good protection as a caster, so there is no need to cover my face behind a fullface covering mask. A magical enhanced google would be more appropriate. And there is no need to cover my whole head into a cloth sack. If I want to cover my head so that nobody can see it, I can use the hood of my robe. But never I would pull a sack over my head! Imagine the disruption by the heat under this helm? Sweat drops are running down from my hair, running along the faceshovel and obscuring my view. I would be totaly unable to cast a spell at all. All enemies would just laugh at my voice sounding like Darth Vather. eventually dying in pain from laughing...

Sorry, I really don't see how this hat should be for a caster. Take away the shovel and sack like some already suggested and it's excellent.

Say something just occurred to me. This mask really kinda resembles the Mask of Torak from the Belgariad series by David Eddings. There are some problems though, Torak was the Child of Dark (evil) but Conjurors are good and Torak was a god with an overwhelming ego. Wait, conjurors are gods and most of us do have overwhelming egos. 2/3 might be enough to convince me!

As already suggested several times by several people: take away the sack and shovelthing and let alone the "crown" and it would be excellent and fitting for the class I think.

Guess we arent heard at all, and it is sad. We are going to either keep the old magehat, or /hide it. No questions asked. I proudly wear my old magehat, and it suits me great. I hoped I would eventually grow with the new hat-shape, but I don't like it, and never will like it either.

It's so strange.. Some just love it, saying it is the best hat out there, but the majority completely hates it.

I have to agree that it is kinda cool on frogs, ratongas and some other animalistic creatures(They dont have the sack, and the shovel doesnt go all the way over their face, just their foreheads), but it is completely wrong on human-models...

/whine off

Probably everyone that doesn't like it should use /feedback and include a constructive suggestion to have the hat could be improved. I guess the chance are best then to get heard SMILEY

This is true, and I don't know why. Well, I know I'm better than all of you, but I don't know why the rest of you all feel that way. SMILEY

But seriously - I appreciate the effort the designers put into this game. I frequently marvel at all the little touches they keep adding. That said - I have mixed to negative feelings about the hat. It's unique, but I just don't like having my face covered. /shrug

I swear I would betray if my conj's name wasn't "Conj"! SMILEY

I rolled a new conj over a year ago cause I saw how they decimated mobs. Now they still parse a little but I'm addicted to that #1 parse slot. Inc swashy WOOT!

So, yesterday I was on a raid with another ratonga conjuror there. He has the hat from vault. As I know this one shares the same appearance as the Hoo'loh one does. But on a ratonga the cloth sack is missing and the shovel only covers the snout, not the eyes. Look pretty good actually.

I think it would be great if they could change it like this on every race. What do you think? Or is the hat from vault different that Hoo'loh? I doubt it is?

Indeed, I'd be ok with that. I'm ashamed ... ashamed to be seen in that hat. It's just an embarrassment and another point in how much the devs hate the conj class. First out eof fabled is worse than the legendary in every way shape and form (we need pet buffs on fabled, not legendary guys), and now we get ... a shovel on our heads. (don't need to mention LU24) /sigh What have we as a class done to receive so much backhanded slaps?

You can't be serious. Ok, EoF legendary doesn't do a THING if you raid. Its worthless if you raid. EoF fabled does more than leg for raiding. Second, our class is the most entertaining class in the game, how can the devcs hate us? AND, the hat is awesome. I don't wear it to raid, cause of no proc, but I wear it EVERYWHERE. Its the coolest one in the game.

What are you talking about? Conjurors are top DPS in almost any raid situation, we can solo pretty [Removed for Content] well, we got moderately decent AAs compared to a lot classes in EOF, and we have great regular spells. Sure our EOF Fables sucks horribly, but let's not throw a temper tantrum and cry bloody murder at the devs for hating us. I'm not ashamed to be seen in that hat, because there's a better one that drops in a t6 instance any knob guild can clear, and one in a KOS instance that after the butchered nerfings you'd have to be really bad to not be able to kill. In case you haven't noticed a fair amount of classes hate their hats and fabled sets, so it's not a problem of dev love/hate It's about a general lack of itemization aptitude on behalf of the OLD itemization dev and some horrible decision making I'm glad to say we may see gradually less off as time goes on.

How about instead of the bucket head helmet on the left, we get what's on the right instead? (Photoshopped image, btw)

The picture is very well done! It's exactly how I would change it.

I like the way conjurer hats look.  It makes me think of Solusek Ro when I see it.  Only thing that'b make it better would be to have flames instead of that sack over the head.  The mask + crown of flames = Sweet! To me anyway.

No, I'd reread the patch notes. It clearly says Coercer.

Yeah, that's how the conj hat SHOULD have looked from the start.

For females of maybe 2 races that looks fine. The hat the way it is now looks great on all of the races/sexes.

Ever seen it on a troll? Find one, or illusion yourself with troll illusion, have your character look down at a smaller race. You might change your mind after you see that the helmet makes your entire head invisible, thus you're able to see the entire inside of the helmet. Not to mention the ears sticking out too. And what about ratonga? Due to a glitch, or maybe intentional, they don't have the bag around their head (at least male ratonga don't), and the face mask doesn't even cover anything except the bridge of their nose. What's up with that?
