With the addition of the Mark stat items for the head, legs, chest, and hands, shouldn't these have been added to the tradeskill book as well which contain the other items in this set?

The "view" from any of the large Qeynos balconies is the same view regardless of your address.  They all have the same layout.  Balcony views were not adjusted/created for each individual address.  This is true in all the cities/homes that got balconies.

I've noticed this, too. It needs to be fixed.

My post was in no way suggesting that anything needed fixed.  I think the outdoor areas are fabulous and I'm thrilled to have them!  My post there was in reply to Peogia to let him/her know that that was not a bug of living in 4 Bayle, but that was how it was designed and intended.  In this thread the developer talked alot about the how/what's/and why's of the outdoor areas.  I knew before the update that some of the views would not match the house addresses you originally zoned in from.

Yes well all knew this on test, and we all knew why they cant make one for each house. I am just happy they gave us as well.  I can remeber at first freeport and quenos wwere not getting them.

I consider us lucky that they at least heard that feedback.

I have to second this as well.  Our crafter last night went on a rant in guild chat when he realized that he could not craft the new stuff, not to mention the crazy prices for the new stuff.

Confirmed on the useabilityonplayer. Something there is broken, but not sure whether the use.. or the g#/R#.

I have a macro set up for jcap to attempt to cast it on 5 group members in a row, g1, g2, g4 etc. Will not target the "g's".

I can also confirm this is wonked up.  Before the patch, useabilityonplayer g2 - g6 worked on group members (g1 presumably self), but now according to the patch notes it's g0 - g5 for the cureplayer command?  When I try useabilityonplayer g6 it says invalid group member.  When I use g1 through g5 it says the ability is no longer available.

If possible, can we please 1) get useabilityonplayer working again with the naming tokens and 2) put cureplayer and useabilityonplayer on the same system (g0-g5 or g1-g6, choose one).  Thanks.

Was a little disappointed to see that the splash screen upon starting up the game hasn't changed (still shows Halas artwork).  Not really that big a deal.

Was only on for a few hours last night, but the few things I was able to try out worked great for me and are welcome additions.

The mount and currency tabs worked as intended.  Click to cure worked wonderfully for me so far, and is a very welcome addition.

Love love love the outdoor areas on the homes.  A neat little addition to housing areas.

Overall a decent GU with something for everyone.  Now if only all of them could be this way SMILEY

I have posted about the connection window bug before.

http://forums.station.sony.com/eq2/...topic_id=486995

Part of the problem is that its restored position is taking in account the full size, but like you, I like to minimze this window to show only the FPS in big, and the smaller numbers, and don't need the fancy graph. The minimized size should be the default in the UI; short of that they need to fix it to restore the position correctly.

What I did in the meantime is I put this window on the far right, so that the graph is clipped outside of the screen . . .

Did you forget to implement this? I checked around and do not see anyone complaining about it, so I am a bit confused or the search did not work too well.

It wouldn't be a game update if it didn't screw up raiding til the following Tuesday. Other than that, which happens every GU, I liked this one a lot more than the previous one.

You might be using the Profit UI. If so, update it at the Profit UI website. Thay have already taken the time and corrected this issue.

Prices on the new Mark bits are a bit out of line... if the rare-drop instance fabled is 220 marks, why is the fairly-ordinary breastplate 150?  (Mages even have a 220-mark BP available).  100 for the BP and 75 or 50 for the other pieces (like the original three pieces) would be more realistic.  (Same thought for the new wrong-statted scout roundshield, unless the upgrade promised in the Items & Equipment forum turns out to be oh-my-Bristlebane awesome and worth the 100 marks.)

125-ish instance runs per alt (assuming 5 marks per) for a full suit is too high.  Voidshard T2 could be crafted after only 50 runs at the time (38 runs now that you don't need T1 to upgrade.)  Especially with only a few months until it's all going to be upgraded again in the next expansion...

Also, half the priests in the game are melee characters.  Some melee stats (haste on the gloves, etc.) for the priest gear wouldn't hurt.  Or at least open up usability of the sets to all classes (the "new" frontal assault pieces aren't cleric-usable) so they can use a gimpy mix-and-match set if they want to DPS.

And why are the haste bonuses on the gloves only 15.0?  T1 voidshard was 35, T2 voidshard was 38.  Since this stuff is comparable to T2 voidshard (the more-costly of two heroic-instance-only sets), shouldn't the haste not be a 60% downgrade?

Finally, why are the new mark bits not craftable?  They should have been added to the existing mark books (with modified prices, 150 for the BP is still silly).

The whole Mark gear upgrade looks like a last-minute addition.  Please shine it up a bit.

The Currency Tab really needs to have the heirloom currency shared between characters, or at least an option to do so. Other wise its just another thing to pull the Marks, Seals, Shards, etc out of currency, into bag, into shared bank, onto char  to use them on.

warden's T4 item molds somehow requires T3 plate gear instead of our own.  It's kinda disappointing to flush your dkp down the tube for totally useless item.

"TroubadorBenefits from AAs that enhance Aria of Magic, Elemental Concerto, Arcane Symphony and Ballad of Warding now properly apply to group members...."

WRONG!

Still broken. In fact it seems that Aria of Magic by itself is partially broken, and the cure rate of Ballad of Warding seems to be extremely low. Some of the "Benifits" seem to be partially working - giving partial, ie 7% or vs the 10% that it shows.

First I'd like to say that the update is very nice.  A ton of fun stuff for all playstyles!  The only complaint I have is there seems to be a major issue in the Greater Faydark when trying to do the new (and old) questlines.  You can hail an NPC many times with no response in either updating quests or giving them.  I have /bug reported it but thought I would mention it here.  Thanks!

The monk pebbles from the Isle of Mara are not addable to the currency tab. I can somewhat understand this because you don't actually open a merchant window to spend them, but it would be nice to clear them out of my bank. Either that or let them stack to 1000 or something, a 100 stack of items that you need up to 700 of for a title is annoying. Though since the Maj'Dul coins are treated as currency and are turned in the same way, it seems like it would be reasonable to expect the same of the pebbles.

One of the reasons that this will never happen, is that 5 Erollisi Lane is also the 5 (6) room Qeynos house. This house, if it had an accurate outside, would be a major step down from 2 and 4 Bayle Ct because it wouldn't look out on the Mage Tower and see bits of Qeynos Harbor (which were specially added to the scene and not normally visible in SQ), but just a city street.

It could be worse. You could have a South Freeport house and when you step out on your balcony, you're in North Freeport. (again the decision was made to have the nicest possible vista, and North Freeport was chosen).

I'd be quite okay with the lesser view, since (1) that's what it should look like (and my house is at 5 Erollisi Lane) and (2) 2 and 4 Bayle Court have a higher cost and should get the better view. Plus you can always break out of the balcony and run around what I like to call not-South Qeynos and decorate that. *must find a way onto the top of the mage tower*

I understand why they only did one view for each city, especially since they're still working on Velious, but hopefully it's something that can eventually be added.

I hope they keep the Maj'Dul tokens as currency; otherwise (especially if you're working on the quests), they can clog up a lot of bag space. I'm very glad to see the quick fix to mounts in the mount window being for sale (and to the writ merchant and his clipboard).

Now what we need is a pet/illusion window for all those summonable pets and illusion items we have, so I can free up even more bag space (and promptly clog it up again with more useless junk Norrathian treasures).

Oh, I'd slaughter a field of halflings to be able to put illusion/pet clickies in a bank (though, quite honestly, I'd happy do so with no additional reward). I'd actually be able to move my illusion eyes back off the mule they're rotting on!

  • [Fan Faire Feedback] “Time Warp” now has a 120 second reuse and applies to the group.

Three illy changes.  TW now is group wide, AOI is now useful, and Personae Reflection has more HP.

1.  TW.  The Conjy is happy that both him and his pet get TW at the same time.  Other than that, there is negligible difference in the amount of spamming that needs to be done.  This has zero effect on the DPS or quality of the illusionists game play.

2.  AOI is now useful and now can be specced into without feeling like its a complete waste of an AA.  This has zero effect on the DPS or quality of the illusionists game play.

3. Personae Reflection has 20% more health and magical mitigation.  Still dies to HM mob that even glances in its direction and a large percentage of "regular mobs" - still not useful in raid.  This has zero effect on the DPS or quality of the illusionists game play.

It would have been nice to have the devs make a single adornment change to slightly improve the DPS of the illusionist at least, or make useful the dozen or so spells that aren't even on our hotbars (mezz anyone?), or mitigated the sheer amount of spamming an illy has to go through during a single raid night.  While the gesture of doing ANYTHING for illys was duly noted, it certainly left most of us completely underwhelmed and our aggravation with the class continues...

Mine is at 0....you can still see them. This has been request from others as well in spell thread. It still shows at 0 with effects all the way down.

I really don't care if they are put in the currency tab as long as the NPC can use them from there.  You have to drag them all out into your bags now to use them, which is actually adding more "work" since before they were already in the bags.
