Retail huh?  Urk.  I don't know.  I can ask, but I might not be able to come up with happy answers I'll try and get back to you.Regarding the overseas/global collect pre-orders for the digital download:  they're sorting the issue out and will let us know just as soon as they have more info.

Guys its always been a nightmare for us in the uk to get the boxed copy of any of the games expansions..i dont see this being any different this time round sadly either

Regarding global collect:  this issue has been resolved and you guys should be able to pre-order the digital download properly now.

Well if it is anything like I remember buying retail boxes, you don't actually get a seperate code for the bear, it will be in the cd-key used to activate the account for TSO, so as far as I can see there would be no way to give the bear to an account other than the one it is registered with.

Last year with the pre-order to RoK, you got a seperate e-mail for the burynai housepet. My copy of RoK came a day late, but I stil got my badger code the night of RoK. I ended up spending that night dancing with a badger.

PLEASE let us just buy the code to get the Dire Bear for $5 extra on top of the DirectDownload. It's not like we aren't already going towards RMT. On a retail box costing $40, SoE only makes about $8-10. The rest goes to manufacturing, publishing, distribution, and retail markup. Why make us pay $32 extra dollars to people who don't work for SoE?

Why not make it the collectable US but you can choose between the void beast or the mount so everyone gets the same choice within the expansion?

In regards to the mount - will I *have* to level it from 1-80, or if I claim it on a level 75 toon will it automagically be that level?  I'd just be interested to know if I'm going to have to mentor down to level my new pony.

I'm planning on buying this via Best Buy in store, but I don't want to pre-order through their web site because of problems I've encountered in the past.

So do you *have* to pre-order this to get the mount, or does simply buying the retail box enable you to get the mount? Their web site doesn't mention the mount at all.

thanks for checking, however, please consider that giving a mount that equals the run speed of the guild level 80 mount in one coutry as a preorder bonus really cant be considered fair.

I say either give the mount with all TSO pre orders or scrap it all together, or third option, just have a single sku with everything, everywhere in the world soe does business.

Actually, the last time that I saw the main page article, the DD download gives the Void pet and teh painting one claim PER character.  The Reatil only gives the Mount and painting once PER account...  There is sooo much confusion here to be honest, I wish that they wouldnt give this variation.  I suggest that all DD preorders get the Void pet, paintings and mount.  If you want the pewter figurine, then get the retail...  It is all too confuzzling for me...

Why do we have to keep dealing with this nonsense? Why can't we just all get the same in-game things, and the ones who buy the box get the figure and the map whatever else it comes with?The stores near me do not carry EQ2, if they do, they have KoS... yes they only have KoS in the nearest gamestop.So i have digital, or delivery, with the fiasco last year and everyone not recieving pre-orders correctly on deliver i don't trust it, as well as the fact it will come 2-3 days later, and depending on launch that could hit a weekend then mean 4-5 days.So i have digital left as an option, meaning i get the void pet, thats cool and all... but having a leveling mount excites me greatly, and being totally excluded from such a thing, honestly annoys me.Please reconsider making seperate bonus's.Combine them and let everyone have them.Vortexelemental

It is one per character.The in game items should all be one per character. Double checked this a little bit ago just to be absolutely sure

Ok, I just reserved a copy at one of my local Game Stop's The Manager did not even KNOW there was an expansion coming out , much less about anything for preorder goodies etc.Just so I know, is there anyting I need to do for the pre-order? I have a reciept as well as my name and cell phone in Gamestop's system. Everquest II and their Developers, Great and addictive game. SOE's EQ II's budget for advertizing Mythic fail.
