I have ben using Hex dolls too....I use the one that lowers their Mit...but I will try the agility doll.

as far as switching stances aftre I blow my wad, I sometimes do that....but I was taking alot of hits while doin ghtis in the offensive stance, so by the time I went into Defensive stance, I was really beat up from the feet up. Now, since then, I have upgraded the Battl;e Fury (Bob and Weave) which looks to really make a difference, so I will go back to trying that again and see how it goeth. I would imagine that I would just stay in Defensive stance once I go into it because after that, I am just pressin the keys as they come up one by one.

I alos use a Health Regen potion on the tough fights which has really saved me [Removed for Content] many times  SMILEY

Question to you vets...or anyone else....:smileywink:

I am noticing that I do much better when I am in Def stance the whole time. Both my stances are Adept3, but even when I start in Off and then go Def once I need to refresh arts, I take way too much damage from the tough mobs...like those Nightbloods. I see that alot of you all like the Off stance, but too me, I am not experiencing much success useing it solo.

It seems like, when the mob isn't stunned, it is counter-punching me, and when in Off stance, the hits land to such a degree that my health really takes a toll. It is so bad that I just FD and redo. I also have my Bob and Weave (Battle Fury) at Adept3 and I am still gettin nailed.

I also wonder, when most of my damage is coming from the buttons, does Off stance hit harder than Def stance with the same button?

What you will see is a significant loss to avoidance and you will get hit pretty often. It really depends on the type of mob you are fighting to which stance you should be in. If I am fighting something that I know hits hard, I will fight in defensive or mixed (Higher con mobs are a pain in the [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn] to hit in defensive and I hate missing on big stun hits) A caster type mob I will generally go all offensive and unleash hell until it is dead.

I also wonder, when most of my damage is coming from the buttons, does Off stance hit harder than Def stance with the same button?  No, same damage either way. Just hit more in offensive as well as get the extra proc.

Hope that answers your question.

Thanks, that does make sense. Last night, after gettin in the mail 2 more bufs I needed Adept3'd, and 3 mastercrafted pieces of Jewlrey for the 42nd level, I was able to use the off stance much better without the health drain against heroics around the32, 33, 34th range. Some of these mobs were multiple that used to give my health a hit, but now in off there is no issue. Now as for the Blue^^^ 2 levels under, I am not so sure but will try them again. It looked as though I was able to beat a 41 level blue^^^ in CT at the entrance, but not sure due to a healer popin a heal on me at the end that I never asked for, wasn't even grouped  lol.

By the way, i got KoS and my first point last night. :smileywink:

I did the collection thing on my Berserker.  I took him to level 20 the normal way (it doesn't take much time) and then started turning in collections.  Why 20?  Because the collections after 20 give AA xp.  I used collection quests to get 12 levels, up to 32, then equipped him with Feysteel and Ruthenium Jewelery.  Also bought a few masters.  Total twinkage.  Cost about 20 plat for collection items.  Another 10-15 plat if you count the price I could have sold the Feysteels and Ruthenium's.  And another 10 plat for the Master's I bought on broker.  It was a nice way to get a RoV capable Berserker with about 6 hours of adventure time (lower levels go really fast) and 4 hours on broker and crafting.

If you can do it in 2 hours, you're just a more efficient player than me.  As for the metal box rate in FG, RoV and RE, he's right.  It's pretty amazing.  I tend to dual-box those zones.  Fury/Bruiser is a tough combo.  I can get good metal box rates in T3-T5, but in T6, I cannot figure it out.  I'm working on Poet's Palace access now.

Hey folks, instead of startin new thread, my question is,  where are good places to hunt named mobs at 50? Incedently, I really only hunt these when the place is dead at odd hours so as to not mess up the xperiene for groups comin in. :smileywink:
