since im not going to give 110% as i do now for 5th place on parse.. thats no fun..  expacially after being top parse in T7.
5th out of 24 with all giving 110% toward DPS (well at least 15, gotta have some healers and a tank) and you're complaining? Or is it that you don't have an Insta #1 button without having to work at it?

Ya necros still do pretty good dps. Granted it is not like they were in t7 but still justifies them a spot in any raid with what they contribute to the raid. Hearts are very important to most named encounters in this game especially since some of them can last over 10 mins
thre are so many regen items/gear in game and other classes that bring more regen,  equal personal dmg, better group buffs and raid wide buffs.   in that ten min encouter would you rather 2 healers and the tank get 10% mana regen..  or only one healer and the tank got 10% mana regen?
Then obviously you are not raiding much if you think they are not needed or wanted. Why is it that i see constant calls in raid for hearts... I guess they are just useless..
yea because 80 mana every 4 seconds is raid breaking regen.     SMILEY
Once you learn other classes mechanics then maybe you would understand that that lil bit of mana means a lot. healer out of mana no hearts can mean not another heal which could be a wipe.Plus necros do provide good power to the group. I am currently in a raid atm and our necro could not raid tonight well guess what i am losing power more than normally.

only 5th because the raid force i was in only had 4 high dmg classes..  and the utillity classes where right behind me.    i dont mind not being #1 parse but i want to feel like im helping a raid force with my dmg or with utility...  the hearts are minimal help and easy to replace..  i mean you dont think a raid guild would do with out regen items for another Ai,Tc or a highr DPS class?

yea.. i dont kown classes and your telling me a necro helps you not loose power?    10% mana flow > 80 mana every 4 secs.   another REAL regen class > 80 mana every 4 secs          summoners have weak utillity.   Always did, only change is that now summoners have weak DPS too.

fury debuffs aside....   evry mage gets a power group buff AND on top of that they bring better utillity or more DPS.    if you dont agree, it's because you have no clue what your talking about.

The stacking of them is what matters.   My troub brings more utility of course than a necro but WAY WAY less dps it is how it is balanced out.....When mobs drain power EVERY scrap of power is god send and in EOF there are plenty of named that do drain power.

you as a troub do way less DPS than summoners, in reality a skilled troub isnt doing much less dmg than summoners and brings AWSOME utillity a raid.    further more no raid guilds have all the casters in one group anymore everyone runs hybread groups so spacing out 3 illys/coers or 3 wiz/lock easy, NOT to mention way more beneficial to a raid.

you obiously dont understand what my post is about.. let me explain.  in T7 summoner, rouge, socr and pred where the high damage classes.   OF those 3 sub-classes the only one that isin't doing HIGH dmg anymore is the summoner.  the summoner did NOT recive ANY aditional raid utillity to OFF SET the dramatic LOSS of dps.  im here to ask why dev's felt they had to do this and what it was exactly that the summoners role would be now.   so  that is my question,  any devs out there care to enlighten me and other summoners?

Funny. The necro and summoner in our guild doesn't seem to have any trouble dpsing at all.

Why is it everyone claims a class is broken when the likely reason is you just can't play it right?
