I know that has been said before but i have actually ran around all parts of town.None of the innkeepers in any part of town give any other dialogue options than the "tutorial". I have quests to speak to innkeepers in several parts but nothing happens... they are stuck in their tutorial mode... all of em.

![]() Peat Bog I see there is a new Named Rat just in the circular area past the now HUGE Voracious Bog Slugs - lvl10 ^ King somethingorother - I have killed him 3 times now and he does not drop anything. The Named Frog in the pond still drops a chest as usual though. Also, I was doing the Pond Water quest from the frog in the fountain in Castleview Hamlet, which in the past has required me to risk life and limb running through the fairies in the centre of the Peat Bog to get the pond water to update the quest. I zigzagged all over that area yesterday and did not get any update. I thought it may have changed location to the actual Peat Bog pond, but despite swimming all through that, still no update. One thing I do like about the new quests, is that they all seem to be linked to a grand conspiracy somehow, what with the devices in Oakmyst, Forest Ruins, Peat Bog etc. It'll be interesting to see what happens at the conclusion! :smileyhappy: Deep |

I did a little running around Nettleville with my new Kerran Mystic. I have to say that I was quite entertained by the mentor series of quests. Very well done!I'm not sure how a new player is supposed to find the innkeeper or the other quests. I mean I know they'll know about the quill symbols by now, but knowing to go and look for the inkeeper is something else. Maybe the mentor could send them that way? or have them check out the inn as part of one of the run around quests from the mentor?Some Tradeskill feedback, I'm not sure where to put it ..On the Tradeskill quest: Since we no longer get the note from Dreak, it will be hard for a new person to figure out why Bendeer Toronga has a quill over his head as he has no dialog. ... I don't know if this will be resolved when we get tradeskilling on the island.Books on the merchant are no longer colored red if I can't use them on my level 1 unskilled kerran and my level 3 artisan (created pre LU19).I think it's been reported before, but there is no way to level my tradeskill on my new character.On my Barbarian Monk, who was created and brought to Greystone prior to LU19, she was able to do the inkeeper quest again and now has 2 tables, 2 chandilers a mirror, a merchant board and a picture.

The pond water has always come from entering the water of the pond, I've never had to go past any faeries to get the pond water, just enter the water near the log where you get the discovery for the pond and it should update. I've got the quest on test but haven't gone back to the Peat Bog to test it out. It's probably like the update spots in Oakmyst Forest and currently broken. I suspect the named rat probably doesn't have loot set for it yet, and I never saw a named one, just a level 9 one-down 'refuse burrower' or soemthing like that in the middle of the new garbage heap, killed him twice with no loot. |

One of the old Baubleshire quests "A Tattered Journal for Valean" is no longer completeable. When you go to talk with Innkeeper Valean, he has a book/quill above his head, but the only dialogue he gives you is information about housing. I can't get him to update this quest. There is the same problem with the Castleview Hamlet quest "Faedaen's Dinner Message". You are asked to speak with Innkeeper Valean, but he does not give you any quest dialogue, just housing info.

![]() Currently all quests involving talking to an innkeeper, whether for update or to start (as in Castleview with Vaelan) aren't functioning currently, for any district in either city. |

![]() 1.The quest 'Inform Tracker Kelnis' given from a NPC in Graystone Yard is currently not completeable. Tracker Kelnis is no where to be found in Oakmyst forest. Edit: I simply overlooked him. No bug here, my apologies.

![]() He is over in the Archer's Grove against the wall, can be easily overlooked. I've completed this with 2 characters so far (this is where the oakmyst fairies used to be). THis area is also where the merchant who used to be on the docks has moved. |

![]() The erudite Banker in Starcrest does not talk, and does neither give a quest nor progress/complete the one where you have to bring the Money from the Merchant to the bank. He has the feather and the book above his head but does not react no matter if I hail him use the bank account or assist him.

![]() Those pre-existing should be able to do them, since you could be level 10 before hitting the village and still do the short string of quests (each race has about 5-6 simple quests, the last leading them to an adventure yard and the new faction quests there). If you betrayed then no you wouldn't be able to most likely as the race mentors are all near guards which would kick you out of that disctrict. THe exception would be kerrans, humans, half elves, gnomes, barbarians, and erudites since they have race mentors in both Qeynos and Freeport. |

Not really, the quests just provide some lore on the race, a piece of jewelry or two that are good for low levels, and the Qeynos or Freeport guide books that you currently get for completing the citizenship quest on live.

However, the quest still says that Tracker Kelnis is on the bridge, so that needs to be fixed. |

a.) Not sure if this is old news of not, but the 4th or 5th quest for the Kerrans, the Kitty that you talk to for all the quests directs you to Peat Bog to talk to the Botanist (Liith?) who in turn asks for X number of 2 or 3 different types of items, one of the requirements is 4 'somethings of mud'. I searched high and low and could not find anything in Peat Bog that drops anything related to 'mud'. Not sure what the deal was.b.) On 3rd part of woman guard that talks like man in peat bog's quests, it asks to find the three ambush spots, i am having a hard time finding spot 3. a) the mud is a harvestable ground spawn. I bugged this as I spent half an hour in there and scoured all the way up to the see-invis aggro mobs and never found a single patch of mud to harvest. I think this may suffer like the camps in Oakmyst for one of the racial quests there (which not only has just one spawn spot, or possibly two, but also is a random non-stackable item until you get the update you need). b) if its the last one on the list its by two log pond tucked back in teh corner behind the toxic bog slugs. All three are stuck in little dead end areas and only spawn when you get close to them. The one after that is similar, the gnolls and boxes you need to destroy only spawn when you get near (so if your a caster class you can end up taking out the gnolls by pulling them and have the box vanish without an update). |

Willow WoodI like these quests all in all (much better then the ole "apartment run around" ones). Just a few things I thought when I did them :1) The graphics used for those "bushes" I would assume they are not "final"? They really are not up to snuff considering the rest of EQ2s graphics which makes them look a little rediculous.2) I did not actually see any "wolf tracks" on the wolf part of the Willow Wood quest. I had no problem completeling the quest as I just ran up the hill and the wolf attacked me, but since it asks one to "follow the wolf tracks" it might be confusing to some that there are no "wolf tracks"?3) I had the Yeoni (Innkeeper) issue as well (does not update message quest in journal), again it did not hurt my progression very much but could be confusing for a real newb.All and all I like them very much, they were pretty easy to follow, well connected and flowed much faster then the ole "apartment" system because you did not need to zone so often (well done).

![]() I'm looking into the mud issue in the Peat Bog (and elsewhere). I'm not sure what's causing this to happen, but my harvestables seem to be disappearing after a zone has been up for a while =( I imagine it's some sort of dirt-processing conglomerate who wants to keep a tight grip on the market.

Ugh... found the problem. reutrn != return /smacks foreheadSo it doesn't look like they were disappearing, but rather whoever managed to finish this quest did so back before it was broken.

![]() Well, I didn't see any horrible typos in the harvestables for Sunken City, which is probably due to the fact that I didn't ever touch them =) If the objects are still missing, make a post in this thread with the specifc objects and problems and it will get looked at.

![]() Greystone Yard Quest Cheers: The 3 people, whom you should deliver Mav's Beer, do neither show up at the Map nor display the usual Book/Pen sign above their head. They are not hard to find but i thought I mention that inconsistency.
