My rambling list:

How about a rare out of the bushes and mushrooms which could be used to make rare foods?

I'd like to be able to select tradskill XP instead of adventuring XP for some collection quests

please, oh please, let me stack fuels, washes/oils/tempers, etc in stacks of 100 instead of 20

I'd like to see all the steps in a quest - not just the next one - so I know if I have 1 more step or 10 more

A reason to visit some of the lower tier zones (maybe high level mobs that don't aggro?).  I like helping newbies, but never see them since I am now in high level zones and there is nothing to attract me to low zones.

I want to be able to drink a potion and not have to leave it in a slot to keep it active - it makes no sense - I should be able to swill it, which uses a charge, put it back in my backpack, have it last for the duration and not have to sacrifice a slot where I keep my hex dolls

no limit to the # of quests I can have open at one time.  What's the point of this?

Ability of the tailor to make clothing, not just armor (and along with everyone else - the ability to dye armor/clothing).  And the ability to make clothing with +tradeskill bonuses for crafters

A horse that doesn't scale based on the characters size.  I want my gnome to be able to ride a respectable mount - not My Little Pony - or mounts made for the larger races (maybe elephants) and smaller races (maybe a lion or cheetah)?

A Soga model for gnomes that isn't all Nose!

Ability to search for an item from my house using one-click to look up something I am about to sell (yes, I use a customUI for this feature)

+INT food not be the same ingredient as all the drinks (ie. fruits).  I can never find any food with +INT on it because it is always used for drink

Guild halls

no timer on the effect of imbued rings - what a pain to just recast this every 30 minutes

a zone with a chain of small islands - and you have to take a small boat between them

rare tailored made bags that are better than all non-rare of higher levels

the chance to get a rare item off of a mob - for example, slay deer and bear, potentially get a rare pelt, slay stone goloms, a rare stone, slay treants a rare wood or root, etc.

A guild alliance tab on the Guild window so if a guild aligns with another guild you can see all of the players in the aligned guilds

ability to email items between cities - those in guilds have a distinct advantage in moving items between cities (guild vault).

Wish list for LU #19

Guild Halls viz:
- Have a category of guildmate for room/house access
- Allow guild members to access guild vaults from guild hall
- Add 4 more vaults that are accessible ONLY from guild hall (same sorts of access limits that can be set as regular guild vaults)
- Provide one (1) room vault slot for each account in guild -- tied to a guild store -- funds go to guild account
- Do NOT provide for player stores to designate items to be sold to guild members only -- guild vault fulfills this function, and there would be too much possibility of guild members ripping off guilds through guildee store items
(first 3 items make guild halls useable as a gathering place for guild, last two are far out wishes)

Make ammo quality affect damage done with CAs rather than ONLY with regular attacks.

Also create recipes for rare throwing ammo.

Revamp furniture status points:
- Rare furniture should be equal to common furniture 5-6 levels higher, not just the next level as is true now -- rare furniture should mean something
- Reduce the status points of the former "merchant" furniture to be more in line with regular furniture, or raise other furniture status pointsto be in line with former "merchant" furniture

Other furniture changes:
- Provide an option to mount rugs on walls as tapestries
- Metalwork furniture (sconces and chandeliers and such) should be done by Armorers instead of Carpenters -- Carpenters have many options, Armorers have few things to make
- Use furs/pelts in at least some chair and other furniture recipes instead of padding. Hides aren't used enough, roots are used too much. Both are still tailoring skills.

Provide a mechanism for guild leaders to know that a character asking for guild membership has had that complaints filed against their account by other guild leaders. Complaints would only be reported if filed by a leader of a guild that character's account was a member of at or shortly before the filing of the complaint (if implemented allow a period for filing due to prior complaints). This allows guilds that have been defrauded or robbed by guild members to caution other guilds against the players running these accounts. This would be an information-only type report, and might be as simple as simply the name of the guild, guild leader and date. It would be up to the new guild leader to contact the former guild and ascertain the nature, seriousness, and validity of the complaint.

The 2 necs and the con I parse regualarly appear to be right where they should be in the damage teirs, both in raids and in XP groups before we got to 60. How are you broke?

/breakdance/tango/riverdanceand anything else you can think of while trying to herd the cats into some semblance of order while waiting to raid.  If I could be breakdancing I wouldn't mind the downtime as much.

I would like to see rares drop from the food type nodes.  That way we can now have rare foods that last a really long time and have even better stats.  Like two stats instead of just one.

New Mounts: Unicorn and Manticore
Ability for the different cities to get the other cities mounts (Even if its through some long drawn out quest in some dangerous Neutral (yet non-DoF) zone).
 
Carpentry revamp:
With so many cool peices of furniture around the realms, why not have a carpenter be able to make these? 
Some good looking furniture that doesnt require the use of rares.
T6 Crafted furniture that actually FITS in a house (What the hell do I need with so many tents when I cant even place them outdoors).
Better usage of Status points.  Who the hell thought of the scale used for rent status point system?
 
Cooking Rares:
Food that actually provides uniquely named buffs SMILEY 
 
More Heritage quests SMILEY
 
The ability for non-DoF players to reach the level 60 caps.
 
Some of the vendor trash armor that drops to have stats making them worth something.  Whats the point of making a few pieces of armor have a unique graphic but NOT having stats (and real stats, not stats like the Orc centurion resist armor)?

That's actually one thing I kinda liked about EQ1, the ability to dye your armor whatever you wanted.  My froglok warrior was stylin' in his set of black and gold armor, carrying his big lance of death.  Still, I can see where you're coming from... too many people out there running around in colors that would cause permenant blindness tends to break up the emmersion many people seek in this game.  What would be cool would be to have the ability to create a crest of some sort, kind of like the guild tabards in WoW.  You'd make a design based off of preset graphics, and etch them on to your armor and robes.  I'd like to see some cooler weapons, too.  I kinda miss my lance.

I'm still a bit of a n00b to EQ2...but I think it would be nice if they added a LFM option... Say for example, you're in some dungeon with a group, a dps decides they need to get off. Well instead of having us look at the "LFG" status and spamming the ooc trying to get a member, we can put up the LFM flag(maybe have it so you can show what archtype you are looking for) and then whenever that wizard sees theres a the group is looking for a dps, and the group is around their level and at a location they are willing to go to.. they can just send a /tell to the leader. Just my 2 newb cents. (Don't know if this idea has been brought up before.)

A semi equal distrubition of lewt across all tables from solo to raid, It seems that the majority of the kinds of loot that drop are focused more twords melee and tank type. While there has been a nice change in drop rates of VLA armor it seems that priests who wear chain are having to deal with melee / tankish type armor insted of the armor needed for their classes, This is also the same for priests who leather. The majority of leather armor has monks and other leather melee type classes in mind, leaving the leather priests to settle for sub-par stats that are needed for their classes or wear VLA armor.
 
I would also like to see a change in the way cures work. It seems that most of the single target and group cures seem to be bugged / not working at all. I myself have experianced constant "chain casting" of cures to remove dots and other forms of damage from members in my party only comming to find out that those forms of damage are uncureable. I understand that there are going to be mobs and encounters where dots // damaging effects are not ment to be cured but not 85% + of them.

Well aside from the armor and weapon graphics, I would realy like to see each of the zones varied in level some.  Have a reason to have people of many different levels in each of the zones.  I realy hate the way the zones are right now with a specific level range and then move on to the next one, etc.  I miss zones like Oasis from EQ1 where high level and low level people hunted and low level people had to actualy make sure the sand giants didn't mash em.

In addition to my last statement, I would like to see the following:

  • Bring back player based porting, wizard spires and druid rings.
  • Master Pet spells for conjurers.
  • Level 60 cap for ALL players (not just DoF) in both adventure as well as crafting, but especially in crafting.
  • Guild Housing for all level 5+ guilds.
  • Gerbils as a playable race.
  • Occasional falling stars added to the night sky.
  • Purchaseable in game mail 'stationary' for special occasions
  • in game 'tides' that that work realistically with the moons.
  • a MUCH better fishing system - the one in place now seems more like an after thought. (Do you realize I can go fishing WITH a rod UNDER water?! I am truely amazing!!)
  • purchasable in game 'families' something to make the home feel more lived in. Maybe let the wife/husband do the in house vending so players who come to my house while I am away don't have to pay the broker if they make the effort to come to my home directly.
  • Furnature/armor dyes is a must.
  • Hair stylist NPC.
  • Outhouses, it's getting a bit unsanitary around town...
  • Bring back the "Dear Antonia" letters http://eqiiforums.station.sony.com/eq2/board/message?board.id=general_roleplaying&message.id=1662#M1662 (at least give Icixx a job!)
  • In game GM held completly random events! Such as who can defeat my pet drake brutis here in antonica.
  • Bring back seasonal events to zones (like in EQ1 when suddenly the zone would be swarmed with beetles).
  • Add a completly (or mostly) underwater zone.
  • Impove turtle vision to remove fog as well.
  • bring back thse spells that used to let my wizard walk through the air, or at least add one to remove falling damage for a duration.
  • Bring back boats that actually come in and out of the zone.
  • Bring back /pizza.
  • Females want equal rights... let them go topless too. (I'm joking)
  • In game theater events played out by both NPC and if players so chose PC's when the stage isn't in use.
  • wizard/mage familliar spells that actually help in some way (perhaps decrease the fizzle rate, or increase the criticals).
  • Purchable/dropaple baby dragon pets (perhaps without the status bonus from the collectors addition ones)
  • Hatchable mysterious egg that later turns into a random house pet.
  • The ability to sell directly off my self ANYWHERE. Perhaps make it so I have to always set it up in my house, but once done anyone can buy off me any time.
  • Bring back Luclin - We can fix it! We can make it better!
  • Add sea serpents to the game (long snake-like ones).
  • Add treasure maps with real in game buried treasure!

There's a lot there to chose from! ~Enjoy!

I would like to be able to sell back my house, make T6 rare furniture, a move command so that I don't have to load up all my alts to move to a new home.

Windows in houses in freeport.

A city wide revamp, should have a bell, a bank and crafting supplies in every zone where there is housing.

Bigger vaults in bigger houses.

Vaults linked to accounts rather than toons.

Double the amount of shared bank slots.

1. Bank exchange for toons of opposite alignment.

2. More armor/weapon design variations for all classes.

3. Pathing problem. This is the biggest joke of all. This has more of a negative effect on the game than all the others put together. There is absolutely no excuse for this issue to still exist. Over a year into the game and Im still having to pull mobs out of walls because I cant see them, in full view, cept for a toe maybe. Maybe I missed it, but I havent even seen this problem addressed. Any SOE employee out there wanna comment on this long overdue, swept under the floor, game-wide problem??

I'd like to see horses jump correctly, i.e, not moving their legs as if they're running while in air.I'd also like to see horses goingon hind legsoooh and also maybe upgrades for horse? like new saddles etc? SMILEY

1.) More Heritage Quest plus those "Signiture" Quests we heard about!
2.) Better pathing
3.) Better armour/Robes... appears (or at least more different designs).
4.) More heroic instances zone like those in DoF! (Love these as they are great for smaller guilds)

After having to camp out of Nek castle and put up with the 18 hour lockout due to the lag caused by memory leaks on SOE's end, I have only one wish.....To see this posted in the next LU.
 
 
Great news for all you paying customers out there.  We have taken care of the memory leaks that have been in the game since we first released it and you will no longer suffer from horrendous lag in Qeynos Harbor, Stormhold, Nek Castle, Down Below, Vermins Snye, Crypt of Betrayal or any of the other many places that we have neglected for so long.

Some things I would really love to see in game:

-  Ping meter similar to what was in EQ1

-  A shortening on the length of the chain armor 'skirt' model so it only goes to mid thigh, not knee length

-  The possibility to display names on effect buffs (similar to what is capable on maintained buffs'

-  Add raid main assist designation similar to EQ1 (set by raid leader).

I would like to see helmets with horns on them...especially for Dorfs and Barbarians...
 
And I wouldn't mind the Hammer's getting a visual re-vamp...and better aggro control for SK's...and better dps for Enchanters (as well as a proper role in raids)...oh, and...um...what the other peeps said too.
