Welcome to Chaos Descending beta!

Please post all the bugs you encounter, and feedback you may have, pertaining to the "Detroxxulous, the Plaguelands" quests, in this thread. Doing so will help to ensure they are given the appropriate attention and the best chance of being resolved.

Quest name: Pathosis Less Traveled
Quest giver name; Librarian Szeth
Current quest journal entry
Any other details pertaining to the issue you are encountering:
- I cast a leech on a bubonian pathing near a bubonian who was infected but not yet dead. the 2nd leech counted towards the first bubonian.
- You cant get more leeches after the 6 so everytime you make a mistake you have to delete the quest and re-aquire it from the librarian

Quest step: gather cyst-covered bubonian skin after feeding it clot water leeches (0/6)

The leeches should appear as the 'quick item' for the quest in the quest helper, they do not.
Most of the bubonians have VERY short pathing areas. Especially when multiple people are trying to get updates, placing the leeches close enough for them to eat w/o aggroing is very difficult.

In fact, the bubonians are walking right over/past the leeches and not interacting with them at all now.

As stated above You cant get more leeches after the 6 are gone, so I'm going to hold on to my quest as one of mine couldn't be retrieved and the other one I couldn't get the skin from the bubonian so I need two more. Will hold quest for fix.

Went in there for a quest, was offered another quest, from one of the hail healers called "Plain 'Ole Disease" it is a lvl 15 quest with a lvl 15 reward of a pair of gloves.

I was doing the quest - "pathosis less traveled" and i collected the slugs, went and did the collect the cyst-covered skins, but on one of them, it just vanished after placing it and one agroed me, so I went back to see if i could 'harvest' another one, and no go, but, I did do a work around, I placed 1, the mob came to eat it, I was able to pick it up before it was eaten, and I still got credit for the skin collection.

Even after the 10/11 patch, the 'illusion' still persists.
When I logged in I, briefly, saw my character. Then the illusion applied. It's applying even while mount.
Toggling hide illusion form doesn't affect it. Recasting other illusions or buffs with illusions doesn't change it

Oh, I've got some good news! The following changes have been made to the quests in Detroxxulous, and should be included with tomorrow's Beta update:

It's Not Easy Being Gangrene - Gangrenous Suit can still be canceled, but now only lasts for 30 minutes maximum or upon quest completion, whichever comes first.
Pathosis Less Traveled - Tasty Clot Water Leeches can now be gathered if you need more to feed the bubonians.
Pathosis Less Traveled - Tasty Clot Water Leeches are now linked with the quest.
Pathosis Less Traveled - Tasty Clot Water Leeches can no longer be picked up after they've successfully been fed to a bubonian.
Pathosis Less Traveled - A bubonian Runecarver is no longer hungry for leeches.
Pathosis Less Traveled - Dead bubonians are no longer hungry for leeches.
Pathosis Less Traveled - Bubonians who have already eaten a leech are no longer hungry for another one.
Pathosis Less Traveled - Bubonians who have stopped fighting will now be hungry for leeches.
Pathosis Less Traveled - Gathering bubonian skin is now a group update.
Pathosis Less Traveled - Gathering bubonian skin is now easier.
Pathosis Less Traveled - Only the player who fed the bubonian is allowed to gather its skin now.

Pathosis less traveled
Szeth (quest giver)
Trying to pick back up leeches that were not close enough and I'll be standing right on top of them and I keep getting the message that I'm too far away to interact with the object. I was only able to recover the leech one time, the rest of the time I got the error.

I have had to start the quest over 3 times now because I could not recover the unused leeches nor could I go get more.

Some collision with the bones in the boneyard. Sometimes the bubonians will see the slugs, sometimes not. Seems a lot easier just to tag the bubonians outside of the bones, rather than try to entice them with the leeches.

Current quest journal entry - Speak with Librarian Szeth, via traveling tome trunk located near the portal used to enter Detroxxulous
Any other details pertaining to the issue you are encountering - I hail the trunk and get the following response, "Have you acquired itemzz of ancient wisdom, so quickly?"

And that's it, no continuation of the conversation, no quest update so I'm unable to proceed. I've submitted a /bug for this as well. Deleting the quest and getting it again made no difference.

Huh. I saw your report the other day and was not able to reproduce the issue. What zone are you in when you are talking with the traveling tome trunk?

I just went back and it's still the same. The traveling tome trunk has the feather/book icon above it.

No chat bubbles or player interaction choices, just the "Have you acquired itemzz of ancient wisdom, so quickly?" response when I hail it (same as double-click.) I've hailed it many times, same response and that's it.

Oh! Well, that is odd. Somehow you are not getting the pop-up dialogue conversation everyone else is getting when hailing the Traveling Tome Trunk. I have no idea why.

Yeah, I found that weird as well. I thought perhaps deleting the quest and getting it anew would fix it but alas, no dice. Anything else I can try? I've done all of the other non-drop based non-sig line quests with no problem. I'm halfway through the sig line as well.

Questgiver: Dropped item from Vegarlson

The pox swarms needed for this quest need more hitpoints. My paladin is blowing through them with a single hit. Heck, even Kenny is one-shotting them.

Putting the particle effect on the scrolls is helpful. I wanted to note that where the scrolls lie on the ledges is above my gnome's eye level, so she had a devil of a time spotting them.
