![]() If you're having this issue, PLEASE complain via Live Chat, make a Service Ticket, Report this to become a sticky... ANYTHING that makes SOE start fixing the issue, instead of ignoring it. I guess SOE wasn't going to make a post about it, since it's been two weeks of not being able to gift, or buy transfer tokens, for all of us All Access members. But I feel it needs to be addressed. I'm quite sure half of the "unable to buy tokens" posts are related to this issue. After waiting to talk to someone in Live Chat last night, I got this response. I was put on death hold twice during this. 10 minutes after I was asked to wait a moment, I got this response. [06:08:29 PM] TSR Sean F.: Unfortunately it looks like EverQuest II players who have an all access pass are currently unable to gift or purchase character transfer tokens due to a bug we are currently working on fixing. What I can offer as an alternate option is to purchase either a station cash card unused for the amount of the token 2500 or 2 game cards 14.99 each (the extra 5 dollars will be applied towards game time). *If you choose to do so please do NOT consume the card to the account as we will need it to trigger the account or server transfer. Unfortunately we am unable to remove station cash from the account wallet so this is the only other option besides waiting until the account hits 30 days.[06:09:11 PM] TSR Sean F.: we are unable*[06:09:29 PM] MYUSERNAME soe: Wait... what do you mean hits 30 days? My accounts much older than 30 days.[06:09:43 PM] TSR Sean F.: Sorry, disregard that part. The account time is fine. Of course then I asked... [06:10:59 PM] MYUSERNAME soe: How long is this bug going to affect my account? [06:11:54 PM] TSR Sean F.: Unfortunately we are currently not sure as we are still working on fixing the issue, however we are hoping for it not to be too much longer.[06:13:11 PM] MYUSERNAME soe: In all fairness, I waited over an hour to talk to someone about this, went almost a day without a response originally and bought a chunk of station cash to prep for transfers that I can't do now... can I get an estimate here as to fixing this? [06:14:13 PM] TSR Sean F.: I really wish I had one, however we have no idea at this time as this issue has been effecting all of the all access accounts for about 2 weeks now. So you kind of have a solution there. You can do your transfer outside of the game. But as for gifters, like me. We're still kind of screwed. I wasn't upset about it until I bought a pretty hefty chunk of SC and found that SOE hasn't addressed the issue; or even made a sticky related to it. When you combine it with all the threads that had a copy/pasted response about 30 day account time, instead of asking if someone was an all-access member, that's a slap in the face. I was unable to gift any marketplace items. Which really kills my guild's Secret Santa program. I love this game. I've always had helpful SOE support. I've never had any problems with Customer Service, until now. I hope SOE sees that not addressing the issue, does not make the issue go away. |

![]() I really wish I'd read this post a couple of days ago. I wanted to transfer a toon to a second, free, account to PL toons on my main account. I have All Access. Bought my station cash on the triple-cash day to be all prepped. Spent all the SC needed on the 'free' account to buy DoV, AoD, the proper race unlock, etc. And then was told that sorry, you have to spend $25 more to transfer, while accounts that actually spend -less per month- with SOE are able to use their $8.33 or $12.50 (from triple or double SC) to get an account-to-account transfer. It is unacceptable for a company to tell a paying subscriber that "Sorry, because of a problem on our end, we're going to force you to pay more" in order to accomplish a task that anyone else can do. I know it's the Holidays. I know that All Access Pass subs are very much a minority. But then charging them more for something that others get for cheaper because of a problem on the provider end - that's not right. |

I know. I found out about the 500 SC through these forums and in a thread, instead of a sticky. They swear they're not ignoring the problem... yet no sticky about any of these incognito issues. No official responses, no estimated fix date... nothing except for a big slap to the face, for anyone affected by it. |

![]() I too wish to do a character transfer, and cannot becauseof this bug with my all access sub. Also, not getting my 500 SC a month is just not right. They better make sure that they retroactive what is owed when they do figure out how to fix this bug. I have been a SOE customer since I started EQ1 in '99. Every month they get my cash for my two accounts. Add that up, it's a lot of money I have spent here, not to mention the extras in game expansions and SC. We deserve to have this issue addressed more openly and respectfully. Not to mention more promptly, it is rather unacceptable and disrespectful the way it has been currently handled. |

![]() I have called multiple times about this issue. They now do not even offer the "pay more and we'll do it" option. It needs to be fixed. For me not being able to transfer toons is awful. It is a known issue that has not been addressed in weeks. I have noticed that, as Tigress did about post merge slot counts, if you post everywhere, SJ will respond to you. I would hate to go that route. |

![]() My wife and my step son transfered toons to a different server. When i came home from work I tried to do the same and was stuck via this All-Access bug (aren't we supposed to be the truest form of SOE fan IMO-right?). No love? All-Access not being recognized as gold in Market place only, along with people who pay with station cards...? I have every Vet reward to date, subbed since the game went live. Now my characters are stranded without his family, for weeks. First CS response was "all transfers have been down since launch..." I Rebuted: second one stated the above people are posting. /sorry... A few weeks later still nothing? |

![]() My CS trail... I wish to purchase a character transfer token, but cannot find it.I have an all-access account with 8 year vet status, others in my family with newer eq2 only accounts can purchase them and have. Can you please help me? Thanks!!! "player" Hi there, "player"GM Hieronaught here, responding to your petition. I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble purchasing a Character Transfer Token. Unfortunately, the item has temporarily been taken down from the Marketplace. I'm unable to provide a timeframe for when the item will be back up, but you can be kept up to date by following our patch notes and our official forums. We appreciate your patience as this issue is addressed, and please don't hesitate to contact us regarding any other questions and concerns you may have in the meantime. GM HieronaughtEverQuest IISony Online Entertainment a day later... What kind of bogus answer is that? Both my wife and step son have this available to them currently, and have recently used it. This isn't the SOE cs support I've seen before... ??? a day later... Hi there "player",Thank you for your reply. I apologize for the confusion; the Character Server Transfer Token is indeed currently available through the in-game Marketplace. Please be advised that for security reasons, it is not possible to gift or to purchase Character Server Transfer Tokens unless you have had an “Active” and recurring subscription (not canceled and not paid for with Game Cards) for at least the past 31 days.In your particular case, I do see that you currently have an EverQuestII Gold membership through our our "All Access" subscription plan. Unfortunately, there is a current bug where EverQuestII is not counting All Access plans as recurring Gold memberships, even if the plan has not been canceled.Given all this information, I would certainly love to be able to help you out. However, that being said, there is no way for me to "flag" you to be able to send gifts. The "All Access" subscription bug related to EverQuestII gifting/character transfer eligibility is currently being reviewed, but unfortunately, I do not have an ETA on when it will be fixed. Unfortunately, all I can suggest is to keep an eye on the Marketplace. For more information about our current top-known issues, please see the following article in our Knowledge Base:"[EQ2] EverQuest II - Top Known Customer Service Issues"http://soe-ing.custhelp.com/app/ans...tail/a_id/12648For information about future updates, please keep an eye on the "Game Update Notes" message board, located on our official forums. Here is a direct link: http://forums.station.sony.com/eq2/....m?forum_id=330I apologize for the disappointment, but I hope that this information has been helpful. If you have any further questions or concerns about this issue, please let us know. I wish you the best of luck!Safe Travels,Senior GM MalovariIn-Game CSR - EverQuestIISony Online Entertainment So no answers no updates besides 5+ new items on SC, and misc bugs... so I guess during the last double XP weekend until mid Feb, i'll just solo without my family... Guess All-Access is not All-Access, and they will be losing that extra $$ i was putting towards it.... sigh. |

![]() citadelli - there are a number of reasons why a transfer token may not show up in the market place on a character from Also if you are transfered between accounts you need to fill out a manual transfer document in a ticket to custoemr service Manual Transfer FormAnswer To Your Security Question: Last 4 digits of Credit Card on file:Station User Name:Real Name:Email Address:Current Server:Destination Server (If Applicable):Number of Characters:Character Name(s):Transferring To a Different Account?:Name of Different Account: Copy and paste the above information into a ticket outside of the game to send to our Customer Support team which can be done by following these steps:
Your ticket will be placed in our queues, and our character transfer specialists will transfer your character as soon as possible Character Transfer Requirements
Here is another link pertaining to the tokens http://help.station.sony.com/app/an...rvice/related/1 I checked on my all access accounts, the tokens do show up

![]() Thanks for the ideas Wingrider01. I checked again on my account, and it is still not there, as well hovering over "gift" button says "you need to be an active subscriber..." Do you know if the method below - the petition part, do they take the money from your SC? And I don't need to transfer to a different account but appreciate all of the information you provided! Thanks |

it still requires a transfer token, the manual form is just for pre-authorization. I looked at one of my kids accounts that have a credit card set, but no reoccurring subscription, it is basicly charged then canceled on a month to month basis, that account got the same message, but the other account that has a monthly re-occuring did work. Are you absolutely sure that the account in question has a monthly reoccurring assigned and has been for 60 days?

![]() Eh Wing, I have had the all-access account recurring membership since it came out - the only interuptions have been with CC card experations and the last was about 2 years ago. Since about Mid-November when they decided to cancel SWG I wanted to check my "game pass info" to see what annual options i might have but I have not been able to log into my subscription info. I get - see belew... (everytime i try...) My other family members have no such problem, so i'm just bugged i guess. We have encountered a system error while processing your request. Please try again later. We apologize for the inconvenience. If you continue to encounter this error, please contact Customer Service at http://support.station.sony.com No biggie for me, I still play VG from time to time, interested in DCUO, like the extra character slots in eq2 etc. I'm guessing since my account is still active all the time and being billed it is recurring...? I'm petitioning as you suggest, and hope after the holidays chill out it can be resolved and our characters can be reunited. |

![]() Just got off the phone with SOE support... my rep was very nice tbh. But nothing, cant do anything. Did fix the ability to log into my game info (account stuff)... but simply said the all-access accounts can not transfer at this time because of a bug. They are working on it and its a priroty etc... This was after an hour of talking to them. So i don't know... My options are to cancell All-Access and wait for 60 days on a regular gold sub /sigh, or maybe it will be fixed... |

There has to be something else to do other than pay a gold sub for 60 days. That basically would mean that transferring a character off a silver account would cost more than it did way back when transfers were originally available. I paid quite a few of those at 50 USD each. I want to move a character off a silver account. I'm not paying them 30 bucks on top of the 35 it'd already cost me. I'm already paying for three game subs, I can't afford a fourth for two months till they tell me I can do stuff. Especially since the character is essentially capped for that content. (90/250) |

![]() I'm so aggravated by the situation. And ticked off even more about it, because they've known about it this so long. Since so few of us suffer from the issue, they must think it's not important enough to worry about, when they can release more marketplace items instead. With no sticky about it and mild patronizing when support tickets are made, I can't help but think they're giving us the finger on this issue. Which is so strange to me. I've never EVER had problems with SOE before. I've been playing SOE games since EQ1. I bought Vanguard, a Free Realms membership, SWG and DCUO out of genuine love of the company. Paid for All Access when it wasn't just 20 bucks faithfully. Now, I get slapped in the face for my loyalty. |

![]() Here's the response I got today via email: "Greetings Vagranticide,Thank you for contacting Sony Online Entertainment. I apologize for the inconvenience. Unfortunately, the All Access Subscription is not currently eligible for Character Transfers. We are aware of the issue and are working diligently to find a solution. We also do not currently have a work around for this issue. As it stands, gold recurring subscriptions of at least 31 days are the only accounts eligible for Character Transfer in EverQuest II. If you have any more questions or concerns, please let me know." My account has gold much longer than 31 days and was only recently changed to All-Access. *sigh* |

They say there isn't a work around but there is. They can do them manually. By hand. Using the billing information stored in the account. Just for some reason they don't want to I guess? That's how they did it before.. My last transfer was done over the phone using the credit card I had on the account. |

EVERYONE needs transfer tokens. Or the transfer ability. If they're worried about abuse, make it so the silver accounts and stuff have to pay by credit card that matches the account registration info. There is no reason to not permit it. They want to throw MORE money at sony, they should let us. |

![]() My recent reply via email was: "We apologize for the confusion with this situation; it isn't a matter of security, but simply that we have an error in our systems we are working to resolve. Although All-Access customers should be bale to purchase character transfer tokens ,as well as gift, once the requirements are met, our systems are not allowing them to do so. As stated, we are working to resolve the problem and you should be able to purchase a character transfer token, as well as gift, once the problem is solved. We ask for your patience during this process." I can't believe the GM's have not responded to any posts on any of the support forums. This is crazy. |
