I have a few toons that did not pick up the quest starter for the frostfell fanatic quest yesterday and now after the merger and the downtime of the ingame mail they can't because it is not in the mail box.  can someon please look into that

Ditto on the Quest starter - so far on Vox and DLere both I'm having this same problem

Not sure if you got this resolved already, but for me when I first logged on each alt, none had their mail item for the quest starter.  I just checked mail, walked away, and I'd say about 2 mins later there was the mail.  Maybe the mail has some sort of timer once a toon is logged in and then actually "sends" it?

I had one of my toons on a while and no mail. a guide came to do some rp and give me a house item and collection piece and no mail for her after that so I stayed on one toon for long enough to get it if htat is how it is set

I logged into one of my alts today and didnt receive the quest starter.  I did log the toon in yesterday during the merge.  Just to check I logged in a toon that I didnt log during the merge and that toon had the starter.

So the Problem is clear.

Same is happening to me both on Vox alts or DLere...

It seems that those alts that were logged onto during this merger, or even much later as in starting at 5am on Thursday morning when the mails/chat/friends list etc went nuts again, are the same characters not getting the Quest starter for Frostfell world quest.

Can anyone address this please??

Why not another mass mailing of the things. I mean a couple years in a row I think - McScroogle was Loading the mailbox with cards at Every log in

I had two alts on Blackburrow who had logged in after Frostfell started, the day before the merge, but never bothered to pick up the mail. They no longer have that mail.

All of my Everfrost characters, who also had logged in after Frostfell started and before the merge, do have the mail still.

I didn't have any issues getting a mail containing the quest starter, however none of my characters can get the quest starter OUT of the mail.

 I've gotten a "you are unable to take gifts from messages at this time" on everyone.

This is on Everfrost server.

Ditto the "Haven't gotten it in the mail" issue.

My alts who did not log in the day when the Mail was not working, got theirs like clockwork not long after they logged in today (level 2 noobs).

The ones that did log in when the mail was broken are not getting the quest starter in the mail.

Is there someone we can petition to get one sent in the mail?

I too have not gotten the mailing for my main character on Antonia Bayle, that was the only character I logged in during the issues with mail and such. I was unaware there was a problem and had tried to access the mailbox but it just hung and wouldnt open, prevented me from interacting with merchants until I zoned to clear it. Since then I have not received anything on that character no matter how long she's logged in, but logging into one of my alts had the frostfell mail arriving in under 2 min for that character. I'm going to /bug it in game.

am stuck with this issue myself. no way to do new frostfell quest on any of my characters i usualy play.

We are discussing options to make sure everyone gets the mail and can participate. Please accept our apologies and hang tight as we figure out the best way to handle this. We certainly want everyone to enjoy Frostfell.

Same thing here, all my toons on AB did not receive the email. (They have logged in during the server merge)

I have /petitioned and /bugged since yesterday... and still waiting...

Tyvm Amnerys - wasn't sure anyone was the least bit interested.

Your post is refreshing regarding this issue.

I'm sure I speak for more than just a few in saying that 'we' eagerly await a resolution.

I did have an idea: What's more Seasonal / Traditional than simply walking up a Frostfell Tree and plucking a Candy-cane for yourself...

I've got our CS lead here in my cube and she says that we should be pushing a fix for this early next week. What will likely happen is everyone will get another copy of the mail. Anyone who puts in a ticket about it over the weekend will have the quest item added to all their characters.

next week?  wow.  thats a long time for a short event, yes?  arent there daily gifts that those ppl won't get?  when does frostfell end?  i looked on zam but could not see an end date.  why cant they just send a massive email out to all players again?  that could happen sooner, am i right?  (if ppl get a dup, they get a dup.  they cant do the quest twice.)

p.s.  i was not affected by this glitch bc i read the mail before the merge for all my characters "just in case".  call me paranoid...  yes, its true!  SMILEY  i didnt do it for my test server guys, though.

Please pardon my confusion Amnerys, but are you saying that in Addition to a fix next week, those that choose to /petition (ticket) per character ...will have this addressed over the weekend, or do we simply need to enter One ticket per account with a character list/location ?

If you put in a ticket now, they should hopefully get to you before the fix goes in... I can't guarantee it because they are getting several tickets, but I imagine they should get it done pretty soon. Feel free to put a ticket in if you want to try for this weekend.

If you aren't in a rush and don't want to deal with a ticket, the fix should go in next week.

The event runs until January 4th, if my info is correct. Definitely into January, though.

January 6th is the estimate Kaitheel had given. Wouldn't complain if it was extended another day or two to compensate for the merges as well.

Thank you Amnerys, I got my ticket resolved. A GM sent me the items to all my characters on my account.
