Ranged pet attack ?

Hello me and my GF are having fun playing a Coercer and Necro Duo but we are new to pet classes so I have a few questions that I hope someone can answer.

1. How or what is the command to make your pet charmed or conjured only use ranged attacks ?

2. If I charm a Healer mob can I make it or will it cast heals on us by itself ?

As it is right now Her (Necro) pet tanks while she does some DPS and I (Coercer) CC adds etc and melee for DPS and I would like to add some more DPS or healing from a Charmed mage or healer mob.

I have read that if I were to switch to a casting AA spec I may be able to get a bit more DPS but I really like the Str/Melee line : )

Anyone know how or if it is able to be done ?
