![]() Unless I am missing something there is no new classes being added? I know there is a massive following for the Beast Lord class. All of that new content it would be a shame not to throw in at least one new class. Anyone else feel the same way? |

there are already too many classes with too few roles to fill in a raid/group.

Yeah, quite a number of players have brought up wanting the addition of new classes. A lot of old EverQuest players miss Beastlords. I do miss my Beastlord but I must agree with what developers have said in response whenever this subject gets brought up. "We will add new classes when all our current classes are balanced" Its pretty blunt. They are still working on balancing all of EverQuest II's current classes. Adding more would only complicate the class balance situation even more.

this has been talked about alot. No new classes until all classes are equally useful balanced etc...we have 24 classes thats plenty

The archetypes and classes are still there, they're just just not as apparent. There is no need for any more classes.

So to keep things "balanced" they would need to introduce not one... or even 4 new classes... they would need to introduce EIGHT new classes (2 fighters, 2 priests, 2 mages, and 2 scouts). I suppose they could throw that all out the window and just add a new class in anyway, but it would be an amazing challenge to come up with a unique role for a new class to play that wouldn't step on other players toes. |

![]() If they ever bring back that god-awful abomination, I will create a ranger or assassin on the PvP server and hunt Beast Lards mercilessly. I will create a guild of similarly minded individuals, and terrorize the class into extinction. I will follow Least Boards around everywhere in PvE, shouting, "Fraud, fraud!" To this day, I treat D'Morte's grave as the symbolic grave of all Beasters, and daily visit it to spit on it and tramp the dirt down. If they are going to bring a new class in, better to cross a provisioner and a shadowknight then a monk and a shaman. I really don't like Beast Lords. |

![]() They've already said they're not going to add any more classes into the game until all 24 classes are perfectly balanced in thier own archetype in PVP, Soloing, Grouping, and Raiding. In other words, no new classes. Getting them balanced in PVE is difficult enough, but PVP makes it impossible. |

I always took the no new classes till the current 24 are balanced to mean the day after Hades freezes over.

Every time it gets close to balanced...someone (usually Wizards, no offense to the happy Wizards - just the [Removed for Content]obsessed "must be #1 on every parse, group or raid" Wizards) whines that someone is more powerful than them, cites the obsolete DPS tiers, and demands SOE nerf some other class which, in turn, starts a massive war on the boards. |

No new classes until rangers are actually rangers, I say. Give us little heals and stuff. A ranger is supposed to be a druid/warrior cross...not a rogue with a bow.

![]() C'mon guys, open your minds and think outside the box... anything is possible...remember we were also told gods would not return. New classes are going to have to happen at some point... Im sure many of you know people who already have 5-7 lvl 70 chars. People argue that we have 24 classes and thats enough. Well honestly we have 12, if you think about it. I don't know many people who lvl a fury then turn around and want to lvl a warden...i think that maybe alittle boring. Besides, I dont think adding new races will keep the game new forever, sooner or later they will need new classes. Who ever is going to fanfaire can corner a Dev and get an update on this question. That way we can avoid a 12 page discussion thread on it. |

However the devs did say that they once all the classes are completly bug free and blanaced then they would THINK about adding another class. Heck EQ1 only has 16 classes total, and they are doing fine. |

Im sure this has been stated many times over the last 3 years or so. There will be no beastlords in the game! And we have too many classes anyway. An excellent example is monk and bruiser. They are so similar that it's not worth having two of them. There should just be "Brawler".

![]() I think there would be lot of player happy if you bring back the beastlord. Actually most peopel not interested in the class would not care and some people would whine. Beastlord need to make a come back! And to the persont hat said beastlord ruined Eq1 ... come on! a single class ruining a game? No sens. |

![]() It is easy to make a Beastlord Balanced for the game. Take one Monk add pet and pet heal take away Windwalk and Feign Death make the AoE's magic. I mean it is already stonger the the Monk is now, but that just briungs up into line with the other classes and at least has raid utility. Or you could have Monks ancient Art for the 70's to 80 be a Beastlord Pet
