Hey all.... I was at 38 for the longest time (longing for Evac).... and with the coming of the splitpaw adventure pack (and the relatively generous amount of xp that can be gained there soloing), I bit the bullet and ground up to 39... and then not wanting to stop the momentum kept going up to 40 SMILEY  So I'm level 40 and was able to find Bitter Frost AD1.. and then I noticed Verduous Journey... apIV.  ?!?!  I thought that was odd, and I checked the description... and dont see what it would be an upgrade to.  Will it cast faster?  or maybe a larger radius?  I also saw VJ at AD1, but, once again, no info on what it does better.

Any info would be appreciated.  Thanks.

I would love to see it changed so that it reduces the casting time and/or increases the radius.  As far as I know though, the upgrades don't do anything right now. If I see a cheap one though, I'll probably pick it up just in case it's changed in the future. On a side note.. are they ever going to do anything to make Summon food/drink useful?? It's not even useful now at lvl3.  If it would summon level appropriate average food/drink I'd be happy. At least it would be handy if I forget food while away from a merchant.  I don't care what they do.. just make it worth casting once in a while. Or just remove it and give us a befriend animal spell. SMILEY  okay one can dream.  Back to the topic of useless upgrades.. I know that they are changing the whole ability upgrades system soon, but I don't know if spells like evacs will be modified much or not.

Yup, I was thinking the same thing, but so far the lowest I've seen it for on LDL was 13g.

Agreed.  I used it once and while I suppose it made some difference (maybe), it wasn't enough to warrant using a second time SMILEY  I would _LOVE_ to shape change to the polar bear SMILEY  I have the Spirit totem of the Snow Bear (health) for my t3 toons.  Sometimes I cast it just for the look (if I find them cheaply enough).

Eh, we can only wait and see.

I have the master and there's no difference.  It doesn't state the range of the spell and you'd think it would change but nope.  I mean it could have changed a smidgen since I dno't measure with a ruler but I've missed people with evac enough times to know that the range doesn't really change. :p

he he he.... That's a good a way as any to judge it I guess SMILEY  I did pick up the AD1 (found it for 2 gold, what the heck).  At some point in the future, maybe it'll do something more. *shrug*

Yeah..Un and I have been around and around with this one ...LOL  He thinks I'm under the influence of Bad Liver Snaps  LOL

I have Verdurous Journey in Adept 3..and SWEAR ...that it has a bit of a bigger range and faster cast time.   Unmasked says I'm delirious...LOL.  He's probably right, but all I know is:  Having it in Adept 3 makes me 'FEEL BETTER!'  since I'm basically a complete fraidy.

On a sidenote with Splitpaw - VJ doesn't work there.  LOL  (I SAID I was a FRAIDY)   LOL

I have the master as well (it was a drop, I did not purchase it) and notice no difference between the two, outside of power consumption. Just wanted to throw my hat in the ring. Stay away from the liver snaps. SMILEY
