When is this going in?.. been 3 days now, Why should be suffer on raids for this long while you guys broke something by adding in a pointless feature that noone wanted?... Just revert the changes.

![]() lol its not that no one wanted it... pvpers wanted it...which we all know SOE said PVP would never mess up/with PVE... it was wanted by the PVP COMMUNITY.. not the PVE COMMUNITY which is what eq2 is mostly comprised of.. can you please take this feature out of the game until you can correctly implement it in for your small PVP community...please please.. if its not broken why mess with it.. this was a great feature you added and got applauded for.. now you broke it /sigh |

Just revert the changes. I'm pretty sure this was a PVP related request. This can also be worked around currently by the tank not casting when AE's are due. I also have a very complicated UI fix that seems to work, but um, its not easy to put in or remove so not recommending that.

![]() Yeah this is not a target or implied target issue. The issue specifically is, when you have an ally on either, and an npc on the other. When the npc starts casting, if the ally casts it removes the casting bar from the NPC. You're players were asking for the option of ONLY seeing NPC casting bars and never seeing ally casting bars, regardless of if they current implied or direct target happens to be one or the other. Perhaps if SoE played their game, they would understand the player's issues.

![]() installed all the patches, fixes yadayada now i don't see players casting anymore ( weheee) but i still can't see what the mob is casting, the casting bar vanishes as soon as i hit the mob with an autoattack or spell or proc or anything, totally random at times but i have yet to see a spell going from start to end. Generally trash mobs i can see it just fine but on named like boar there is no way to see it, it's there for like 0,1 sec, sometimes i see nothing...sometimes i see it casting it vanishes and no aoe... i tried everything in the drop down menu, best way was to just stay around do nothing at all ( which is totally awesome and not boring at all since it works normal on trash i would say there is something else broken? I like the added difficulty though..... |

![]() the zones i saw that in was POW and Tallon HM POW just the boar and Tallon HM up to Klaatuus, Trash was fine ( for example the birds before Klaatuus) but the named had this issue happy testing? =) |

My guild raids tonight, I'll get a few specific mobs and specific AEs that I see the issue on as well. |

Didn't I post about 4 times EXPLAINING that the AoE casts get cut off?... Do you guys not listen at all?, 2 other people mentioned that it NEEDS to be fixed... So now, we have an option to toggle it but, due to the usual SoE attitude we need to wait till NEXT tuesday for ANOTHER fix... and pray that THIS time they got it right. You guys really don't change... It has nothing to do with certain mobs or a certain zone. It is doing it EVERYWHERE.... Stop testing it in certain zones... Take your 5 GM buffed buddies, take them to Lichlord Skulldugger in Vallon HM... Start the event and OBSERVE. The cast bars will get cut off.... Make sure you are targetting through a tank/dps and are constantly beating on the mob. This is not something you can replicate in Darklight woods.... It really makes me wonder if the highest level character any of the devs played was lvl 50. A BUNCH of people explained how to test this out. Why.....are.....we.....STILL...dealing....with.... a.....broken....mechanic.....WHEN....IT....WAS.... BROKEN.....FOR......NO......REASON........You guys made changes to something right?, revert them..... Also, stop....breaking....stuff....that...isint...broken .. Fix this THIS WEEK... Not waiting till next tuesday due to SoE's stupidity

![]() The toggle option is fine... That isint the problem now, the mobs AoE's are dropping randomly... Before we couldn't see them, now we see them but they drop... Seriously? And what does the two bar fix have to do with mobs dropping AoE casts? Really? |

![]() I'm looking into the issue. I got it to happen to me on the aviak boss in tallon raid, but it seems to be pretty tempermental. If it's related to scripted spell casting, I'll see if there's anything that we can do about it, like adding a second casting bar for NPCs in case they ever overlap and cancel each other. - All speculative though. Have to actually figure out the problem first. |

Don't add anything to the npcs, do not add extra stuff we do not need please... We need this change FIXED back to the way it was, not a workaround so there are even more problems. It was never like this before so i'm pretty sure that means someone did something to the code... Amirite?

I posted before that even when the PC casting was enabled, back when thread was first posted, you could target yourself and cast any long spells and YOUR OWN spells would drop randomly.... They sometimes stop displaying right when you cast them, sometimes they ALMOST finish... and other times, they dont display at all. It is not just NPCs... Something is wrong with the actual code , something is interrupting it... Get this fixed ASAP... Going to raid in 20 min, hopefully it doesn't interrupt like it did before because so far in Skyshrine contested, all the spells casted finished.

![]() In raid right now... War Boar is currently dropping AoE ALL the time, it shows up for a split second than it drops... This makes it IMPOSSIBLE to precure... This is really pi*** me off, it really isint that hard.... get gm friends in ANY zone and test it....This is insane... Its weird cause i saw the spell cast all the way ONCE... dont know what is interupting it... FIX IT ASAP PLEASE |
