Tainted Caress got a damage decrease & hate increase other than the obvious 1% increase in the proc chance.

Not today, that was the whole patch message maybe yesterday, i think they made a small patch yesterday, let me get that one too:

"*** Desert of Flames ***

- The initial champions available on the merchant outside the Maj'Dul arena now cost 5 silver instead of 11 gold.
- Carpets to Sinking Sands from Qeynos Harbor and East Freeport will temporarily zone players directly to the Sinking Sands instead of flying there so you may choose which instance to enter.
- Several Desert of Flames maps will now have fog that gets cleared as you explore the area.

*** Gameplay ***

- Various issues that caused server instability have been addressed. As other issues arise, we will take care of them as quickly as possible.

*** Spells, Abilities, and Combat Arts ***

- Apprentice II spell scrolls are now available on merchants for all new level 1-50 spells that were added as part of the combat changes.
- Scout NPCs using Cheap Shot will no longer stun for as long as they used to.

Monk changes:
- Wind Walk will no longer penalize movement speed.

Warlock changes:
- The Flashfreeze spell line will properly land its stun on enemies.

*** Tradeskills ***

- Advanced recipes for Provisioners and Carpenters will no longer drop in the world.

*** Commands, Controls, and User Interface ***

- The graphical errors that appeared as large black polygons for some users have been corrected.
- The graphical corruption that occurred on the right and bottom edges of the screen on some machines should now be fixed."

Aye, it now reads 2% and in an hour I got 30 essences, so that 2% is high enough IMO.

Crap there goes my plan to over charge for my remaining 5,000 essences :smileysad:

I figured at 2-3 gold each I could really make out like a bandit

1% was fine as it was, now were gonna have hundreds of the things, cluttering our inventories

I am happy. I think they may have done more in the programing other than changing probability from 1% to 2%, because I have ample essences now.  They do apparently read their /feedback messages.

And my sympathy to Pitt Hammerfist for maybe having to delete a cluttering stack of essences every once in a while.  SMILEY

With 2% I am able to save enough to go out and solo xp and use them only on tougher mobs as in yellow one arrow up mobs.  But its still not viable to use them neat every fight.  Still seems tough for me to get alot of them but I am guessing this is what sony wanted would be intrested to see what they think on this matter.

Well they seem to have tweaked it, cause I've gotten over 50 essences in the last couple days with just a few hours adventuring.  So don't see a problem with this anymore.  Of Course I really don't use the pet unless its a tough mob I am fighting, due to the fact that I usally kill them quickly anyways.

The pet is still worth using even though it only is up for 30 sec. specialy in a pvp fight or duel. I mean it is worthless in a pve fight only time I use it is for those big epic mobs to help on dps other then that it is not worth the waste of castign and using an essence anymore. If they atleast change it to where pet stays up for the duration of the encounter or fight then it would be worth it.
