Focus and Disarm Traps lvling

I am looking for help to raise my focus and disarm traps. Would some of you please leave me suggestions. A few months ago I would get the option to disarm traps on dropped chests now I no-longer get the option.

You will automatically disarm the traps when you click it.

As for focus, try agroing some grey mobs and then call to freeport (or wherever).

From Game Update: Shards of Destiny - Wednesday, September 23, 2009

Scouts will automatically disarm chests now when attempting to open them. As a result, the disarm verb will no longer display.

In other words: no more rightclick menu, skill ups are automatical on double clicking a chest.

To get both focus and disarm up, do what Makaroni said.

If you are around level 80 and can handle the void beast mobs in Lava Storm I found they drop a decent number of chests. I finished off the last 60 or so points of my disarm skill there last tier.

Try equipping Hex Dolls in your charm slots, and then making a space for them on your hot bar. During a melee fight, click on them whenever they are available. You will level up focus that way.

Also the Call to Qeynos/Freeport/Kelethin while engaged in melee (just make sure to cancel it before you actually finish casting). This is best with a larger group of lower level MOBs so that they will keep interrupting the cast

On chests, I would suggest Lesser Fay.. with the borked drop rates on the small chests for Cloak of Flames pages, it's WAY easy to get disarm up there.
