I have a L70 Adventurer with maxed out harvesting in all skills. I've been harvesting in Kylong Plains and have yet to get a skill-up. Is this right or am I just super-unlucky?

If you are already maxed out for level 70 then your max cap won't go up until you level some.  I believe level 70 is capped at 350, right?

Yes, this is correct, 70 is capped at 350.  However.... hmm  I'll have to look.  I don't think I raised up to 355 on harvesting or not at 71.  Can someone confirm?

Hmm.. I can't remember, did they raise the max at level 80 to 375 or 400? If it's 400 and you didin't get to 355 at 71 then I'd say that might be a bug, if it's 375 then it would be 5 points every 2 levels, so it would be 72 before you hit 355.  Yes, can someone confirm the cap at 80 now?

Thanks!

Currently at 355 for gathering, fishing, mining, and foresting at 71.

I think it in general follows the 5*level. So at lvl 70 the cap is 350 and I imagine it will be 400 for lvl 80.You won't get increases in your harvesting skill, until either your adventurer or crafter has dinged 71. Then you can level the skills to 355.

Probably not seeing skillups if you are harvesting in Kylong Plains. The T8 nodes there are trivial and seem to use the old T7 harvesting skill rules. When I wasn't getting any skill ups I examined a node and was suprised to find it was trivial. I have no idea whether this is by design or an error.

I have gotten skill-ups from all types of nodes in Kylong Planes, going from 350 to 355 there.

Yeah. Once I had read on down it hit me that I was still 70 so I shouldn't have been expecting skillups. Weird though that the nodes are trivial.

They're not, the text is just misleading when your skill is capped.  You would think that would produce a different message to avoid confusion.

It makes sense that somewhere in RoK are nodes that let you harvest if you didn't have KoS or EoF.
