![]() Look at my history, I will always be a n00b. ![]() When we talk about pally taunts we are just talking about our hate increasing spells (they also reduce mitigation too, but the spells that draw aggo). I know in old EQ you had to have a /taunt button set up to increase a taunt skill. That isn't the case here is it? Please tell me I have not been this out of it for this long. Vadiman

No /taunt macro required. Your 'taunt' abilities will appear in your knowledge book, just like all your other spells and combat arts. All you have to do is push that icon button just like casting anything else.

FT - flowing thought often comes on gear - regenerates incombat power at a faster rate.ie. FT8 (flowing thought VIII) will increase the power you gain back at every 'tick' (3 seconds I think) by 8On its own it doesn;t do much but stacked together it does a surprising amount of power regen and is mainly sought after by crusadrers (Paladin's Shadow Knights) Mages and Priests.Unsure what LT and RT could be though.

![]() Shield bash give more +hate to a single target than your AE taunt, so I'd call it a taunt with a stun effect.

![]() Thanks for the replies. I thought I was right about the taunts just being my +hate spells, I just wanted to make sure that I wasn't missing something

![]() I love my shield bash! though noone has ever answered if it is still bad to stun epics. I know in the past, a stun could cause (or guarentee) some sort of special attack from the mob, is that still in the game. It always bothered me the number of abilities I had to give up (in the few raids I've been on) to not have a stun effect in there.

![]() RE: Shield bash I've always known this was an agro generator... what I didn't realize that it generates more hate than our single taunt and group taunt... and it stuns!! BASH AWAY! |

![]() That makes total sense haha, I know what Flowing Thought is, just for some reason I never put two and two togather for FT =p The other acronyms where just random ones, all I remember from some post I had skimmed over was that it definatly had a 'T' in it. =pThanks for the school lesson. |

The stun doesn't work on Epics.

I know they don't work, but at least in the past, using a stun was bad news (ie triggered some spell effect, aoe, etc). Is that still in?

It all depends on the mob. Like on the drake you can't use AE's.

a proc is something that goes off based on some random number generator. Imbues are procs (damage for weapons and pants, healing for bp). But you also get a buff that is a proc (Righteousness line I believe it is called. Yellow symbol with a sword in it). A good plus is one that goes off regularly or with enough effect when it does to be acceptable (this is a personal call on the player to be honest).
