A few questions for you all out there.1- Did you respec your KoS AAs now that EoF has come out?2- If you did, what did you respec them to and why?3- Do you feel our healing AAs are more important than our defensive/melee AAs?4- If a group was looking for another healer, would you feel confident being that 2nd healer? Do you find yourself doing this more now? I went down the Str, Wis line for my paladin in KoS for the hate transfer and fear immunity. The final few AAs I used on stam. Now I find myself thinking about totally respec'ing to support line in KoS with Int, and Wis instead. If I have come to terms with being an off tank, and being a secondary healer, I want to be the best at it as I possibly can. I think the healing line AAs are pretty sweet, but I would like some input from those that use these currently, or in the the future. Thanks,Denuve

1 I was happy with KOS AA (int/sta for crits heal/dam) so no rmore espec. I had already respec before EoF because i tried strength line and was not conviced at all by that (the hate transfer was too limited and just bring a hate while the crits heal/dam bring hate+heal+dam).2 See 13 I haven't see any def/melee AA for me (and giving mit to a mage is a pure joke made in EoF). I will go healing/more damages AE because in raid i mostly heal and ward and saved many time the MT like that. The problem of our heals/ward was that it was long to cast and costed too much power but EoF fix those 2 problems. I find it great in my opinion (its good for soloing, grouping, raiding). I'm gonna also take all the improved damages of AE spells and proc. I already like my 9 AA in self heal and dam. 4 I'm not 100% confident as a true second healer (because if u need one it means that its gonna be really hard on healing) but with EoF (shorter casting, take less power, one new heal, cure) we are becoming viable one (not great ones).

![]() 1- Did you respec your KoS AAs now that EoF has come out? 1&2 Yes I respeced down the Str line for end result 10% faster cast/recast. I went 4/4/48/8 Str line I love the hate transfer with Master amends crunching numbers its a 46% hate transfer Sigil 35% I dont lose agro anymore not once since I changed in group settings. Then went 4/4/8/5 in Int that gives me spells crits and good % chance to heal crit. 3- Do you feel our healing AAs are more important than our defensive/melee AAs? No but they are equal going down heal line maxing both reg heals ward loh ability and end heal. With Str line from KoS end line and pts in EoF heal cast times are very resonable second to second and half for heal and 2 second ward 8sec recast. And Celestial Touch on 11min timer is great. With pretty good fast heals and crit chance I can be decent backup healer for myself in group better than I was at least. Going down Hero line next mainly for extra hps and blocking as end ability rest will go into the AOE from Wraith line for Concecrate shortener this puts concecrate on 4 min timer with Str from KoS means you can use it most fights in raids. Btw I aint MT I am OT in raid and try to save the healers nukers from dieing so being able to hit concecrate anytime things go wrong is best agro gainer besides having 9min timer or rescue, between shortend rescue and concecrate times I should be able to get the agro fast for adds or for over zealous dpsers. 4- If a group was looking for another healer, would you feel confident being that 2nd healer? Do you find yourself doing this more now? Ya I would feel confident being backup healer for group I heal about70% of what a fury heals and with wards 2nd big heal from EoF end line faster recast less power use and crit heals. I will be very dam near on par with the bottem edge of what healers can do. Message Edited by hawsecav19d on 11-24-2006 02:56 PM |

Actually groups with two healers is a very viable option... all depends on your play style. I go in hard with a heavy DPS group. Usually me, a swashy, a conjurer/necro, templar, fury and another scout class. We pull masive groups, sometimes as many as 6 triple up blues and just AOE. The two healers allows us to do that effectively. We chew zones up, and we rarely have a death.

Heres my deal. I went down str till 8 in hate transfer, down wisdom for fear immune, and put the rest into stam. But with the added bonus of the crit heals, and damage with int, I was thinking of moving my str to int, and keeping the remaining aa in stam. Im up to 1plat in respec cost, so dont want to blow it on something not useful. Then I was going to go down the hero line, but again, I was thinking going down the heal line instead. Heal plus some of hero would be a nice combo.Still unsure at this moment, and have 9 AA saved up for the paladin line.Any thoughts on this change to more of a healer based paladin? Or should I stay with the hate transfer.

I have found the strength and intelligence lines to be amazing. I previously had wisdom, and while I miss the melee buff and the fear immunity, it just didn't seem worth it any longer.
