Question About Blood Drenched Gi & Destruction Fist (Please Help...)

Allright... I know supposedly this item is still bugged and flagged no zone, however apparently someone on our server got one the other day and was able to get out with it, either way, me and my friend wanted to see how hard it is to get the Gi. After reading up the best we could (there's not alot of information about this item) i went and bought bloodlines specifically to get this item and destruction fist. Much to my dismay I purchased it prior to figuring out not only is the Destruction Fist apparently no longer available, despite the fact EVERY OTHER CLASSES skill is there, but then the Gi is bugged. Anyway, we went down to Tomb of Nights: Retribution. We read and heard from people on our server (Lucan D'Lere) that the first named Vampire (Thayne or whatever... the one with 5-6 friends around him and a person laying on a alter.) was able tod rop the gi. We have now killed the vampire 57 times and have not yet got a gi, I would say only 25% of the time does he drop any sort of chest, and most of the time it's a utterly crap item. A few Adept 1's and what not for the guild bank was the only thing useful, his loot table seemed no different than anything else in the zone really, as we got drops killing monsters in the room around him as well. I'm wondering two things basically, does anyone know for sure that the first named Vamp can drop the Gi, and roughly what his drop rate is, and also, is there anything to compsenate for Destruction Fist? How can Sony allow people who bought the game and had BLoodlines a month or two ago to have this amazing ability, and snub everyone now? That just seems pathetic. Is this a glitch and the Fist will be reinstated? If both of the items I bought the expansion for are not working or not even available, I'd flat out like a refund. perhaps the reason you cant find the skill is because its called Devastation Fists and as far as i knwo still in game

Yes devastation fist is still in the game. It is purchased from the NPCs outside of the Zone in to the Tomb. In order to obtain it you must complete all the quests (7 of them I think).

I don't believe you have to complete all of the quests, just a few and then do the exploring the one tomb zone.

However, I cannot confirm that it drops in any of the other zones. I myself have killed the Vampire(s) countless times with no luck in the Gi.
Their are tales of people who have had the Gi in their inventory, attuned, etc have made it out alive with it.
Then again, there are those who say they took all the proper pre-cautions and don't have there Gi.
-Not really sure what I can say other than I myself am still trying for it (only I am in the search for answers zone lol) which it has me convinced that it WILL drop in that zone as the loot tables do not change but I'm not quite certain. Anyways, best of luck hope this post helps.

How do I get the Devastation Fists skill?

You have to complete three quests from the factions outside the Nek Forest waterfall (NW area of map) as part of the Bloodline Chronicles adventure pack. After completing the three quests, a merchant in the faction will sell you the skill (for a few gold). The skill gives massive damage to an enemy, but cannot be used on mobs over L50, on Heroic mobs, or in PvP mode.

A Small Sampling
A Bloody Coup
Mysterious Artefacts

Just found that on the guide a few posts down.

Thanks for the advice guys, I swore though I was reading threads and people said the Devastation Fists were out of the game for the moment, that they couldnt' be bought at the vendor currently, and I think the posts were only a few days ago. Im gonna see what I can do on these quests today....

You can get Devastation Fist after completing the 'Mysterious Artifacts' quest. Just speak to the merchant of whichever faction you've been questing for.

As this is the same intsance that the Gi drops, there isn't really much point in continuing with the Bloodlines storyline after this point - unless you enjoy combating insanely undeconned mobs in a particularly depressing setting, or really need to gain the 'Hunter of Vampires' tag.

As a footnote I'd like to add that people seem to be having no luck getting the Gi to drop from Rhayne, so it may be a better use of your time to concentrate on Nilth - that's whom mine dropped from.

Roughly how many times did you have to kill him to get it to drop? Also as far as Devastation Fists, I just got a tell from a Bruiser today who did all the neccessary quests and said the merchant sells every item BUT the Bruiser skill. So it appears Devastation Fists has been taken out of the game for anybody who HASNT got it yet.. which is BS. I really do want my money back if thats the case and the GI is glitched. Those are the only 2 reasons for me to buy Bloodlines. Lotozek, 46th Season Bruiser

According to this - http://eqiiforums.station.sony.com/eq2/board/message?board.id=7&message.id=8528#M8528 - I think I killed Nilth 3 times before I got a chest drop. it may have been more - the whole thing was starting to get to me - but not much more.

Devastation Fist is - or was - definitely available at least up until about a week ago, 'cause that's when I got it for my Bruiser. Just be sure to scroll through the merchant items slowly - I missed it the first time and asssumed I just hadn't done enough quests. But on closer examination it was there, and happily the level 50 cap is gone - although this CA is still not useable on heroic or epic mobs.

Devestation fist is no longer in the game i talked to a GM and asked him if it was still in game or not he said they took it out when the Revamp went live so if you got it Congratz to the rest of us he said to do a /feedback with some ideas on a replacement :smileyindifferent:

No Crap. How can SoE justify allowing everyone who allready had the spell to keep it, and all the rest of us are SOL, which is oddly close to SOE. I bought bloodlines for 2 things, to buy Devastation Fists, and to get the Blood Drenched Gi. Also today, after camping Rhayne 58 times and killing him and then learning its easiest to drop off Nillith, we camped him and killed him 17 times and he finally dropped the Gi, friend figured any zone out would result in same effect, someone on server who escaped from zone with the item said thats all he did, friend left and poof, Gi gone after 10 hours of camping him. And how [[Serious Expletive Haxx0red by WTFSOE]] hard would it be for a Dev to open the master loot table, go to the blood drenched gi, and uncheck the box "No Zone" Because that's all they have to do to update an item. So I paid $5 for something I can't use. Sure, that's not alot of money, but what the hell, why even offer it if you can't fix things and screw people out of what they bought the expansion for?
