the spell only triggers a very very little "show" in a kung fu style.the spell message says something like "u change ur appearance / ur appearance shifts"pls look into it, maybe (like the spell msg says) the spell should give the BRuiser a "form" like Tiger for the Monk and this spell doesnt work right now. Thanks

The skill is just that a showoff of martial attacks, nothing more. The description that it changes form is most likly a leftover from the copy/paste job that was done on the skill it was mirroed from.

Yeah, i think we kinda got ripped off with it. Other classes acctually get FUN spells/skills. I think it would of been better if we got something to make our fists glow for a while or something. =/

its nto as bad as others...i think the unholy fear spell for healers is really horrid...all it does is make the target cringe for about 2 seconds..then its gone.

unholy steed is quite cool as is frog form and badger/scorpion form heh, a particle effect on our fists would be quite cool though

I would like to see a mimic form and take on the shape of the target were fighting.  Would be limited to humanoid form or some beasts or some thing. We would mimic the fighting style of the mob were attacking.

Was this skill automatically given to you when you dinged 20, or did you have to find it and buy it?

I was not given this skill.

Also, what would adept 1 on this skill do?  =)

Check with your trainer ( NFP ) to buy the scroll. You arent given the skill automatically. There are also no upgrades, the app1 flag is just due to game mechanics.

It's a fairly decent show, you can always use it before you start using kicks and rapid strikes.  It's quite amusing that people actually think its doing damage when you time it correctly.  But I think that it should be like an Instill Doubt type ability, because otherwise it gets old past two uses

It would be cool to summon a bar stool and fight with that as a weapon instead of the wanna-be bruce lee moves we do.  Honestly, the DANCE animation is longer and more thought out.  Couldn't we get an entire minute or so of martial arts, or add an Instill Doubt type fear effect on whatever we target?  Breakdancin would be cool too.  I'd like to see my troll bust out in whirlwinds and headstands.  Seriously though, defiliers get to turn into some crazy purple black smokey guy, furies get to be a lion, necroes get to be a skeleton.  Where's the showoff here?  Maybe if we DID enter a new fighting stance, that would be cool.  I guess no, though, we're stuck with this crap

Here are the only things Ive found its usefull for.

1. Pretending your attacking an NPC, oooh exciting

2. Impressing newbies.......

3. Making your character spaz out while he runs

4. Spicing up your normal combat that no one but you is watching anyway.

Seriuosly, when another lvl 20 class runs by you its like "whoah a horse" "whoah a cat" "whoah blurry purple guy!" "whoah a lion" "whoah a skelly" etc etc

When a bruiser runs by you doing his kata you are like "**ZOMG** is wrong with that guy running and waving his arms? must be a a bug"

What they should do is at least add a fist glow effect, or weapon glow effect after the kata that lasts a good while. Eve a fist/weapon blurr effect would be **ZOMG** cool.

IMO our lvl 20 fluff spell is just an extra emote. you dont know how many times I've done it and had someone ask "what emote is that?"

OMG, The bar stool idea ROCKS! I would roll in the floor laughing every time.If not a bar stool, may the bruiser could summon a bottle, break it, and start slashing. The fun factor would crazy SMILEY

Hey, just thought I'd point out that the 'purple haze' of a defiler is not a fun spell, tis a spell that increases armour class of group members amongst other things. Our fun spell is a really silly vicious rat badger illusion, a reused critter that you find in Queynos, in fact. Very low camera angle and not much use to man nor beast, hehe, so don't be too upset ;D

While we are on corrections.  Fury lion illusion is not a 'fun' spell, but a core buff which is first recieved at 20.  Raises HP, AC, Power, and adds our Maul proc.  Unfortunately we gotta run around in it all the time when hunting unless ya got an Eye illusion, which I don't.  Believe me, it's not fun for long.  Except when noobs run up to me in CL thinking I'm a named lion and try to kill me.  heh  Otherwise I'd rather see my character, frankly.

Fun spell at 20 for Fury is Faerie Fire.  Basically it surrounds a targeted foe with green light/fire.  Cool, now I can light up the main target and cause some framerate problems for some people.  Oh, and that high level ^^ mob might be [Removed for Content], cause the spell generates agro, which is something Furies definately don't need more of, hehe.

Basically, I've cast it twice and that's it.  Most classes got [Removed for Content] on fun spells, except Pal/SK.
