I don't like this new character creation system. I want to make a Ratonga monk, but I can't! You need to be a neutral or good race in order to play one! Before the change, you can play a ratonga, betray, THEN become a monk. SOE should just make all alignment/race/class combinations available.

You're ignorant of the fact you can grow up a bruiser, betray and when you are a citizen of Qeynos, you automatically become a Monk.

You can still be a monk if you start as an evil race. Just like before you have to betray Freeport and join Qeynos.

He's also ignorant of the fact that THERE WAS NEVER ANY POSSIBLE WAY TO BE AN EVIL RACE MONK in the first place. You always had to betray. No exceptions.

"You always had to betray"No [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn] sherlock, isn't that what I said in the original post?I'd like to state that you are ignorant of that fact I already knew that you can't be an evil race monk "starting" off before Live Update 19. Just because you had to betray before doesn't mean that you always will. This is a patch and I expect CHANGES. And where in the world in the patch changes say that you automatically change classes after betraying? It didn't, so I assume classes are static. And I'm not like you spending countless hours on the forums. I can tell from the near 3k posts you have. You obviously have nothing better to do than make uninformative posts like this one.

Dude, relax........   There was some discussion in the test forums about how betrayals will work.  If you look closely at the notes for LU19, you'll find this little tidbit:

City Betrayal- The city betrayal quests currently remain as they were. These quests will be changing significantly in a future update.

We only have less than 3 weeks until KoS.  I recommend that you play your character and REALLY get to know it, then when the time comes, betray.  Since Bruiser and Monk mechanics are pretty similar (especially for the lower levels), you'll find the transition fairly easy.  We'll need to help you achieve Calm Tranquility before then, though SMILEY
