I trained in Judo/Jujitsu for a decent amount of time and it so happened that the founder of our style of Jujitsu had the priviledge of training with Bruce and teaching each other a lot of techniques.  As part of the exchange of knowlege, Professor was taunt the one-inch punch that Bruce Lee often demonstrated.  If you notice in the opening fight sequence in Enter the Dragon where Bruce is fighting Samo, he uses quite a bit of Jujitsu, with the throws and armbars, etc.

A couple of years ago, I was in the Seattle area and visited Bruce and Brandon's graves.  It was always a place that I wanted to go to pay homage to the legend.  Unfortunately, among the flowers and poems, some chump decided to put business cards of a Tae Kwon Do school on their tombstones.  I don't really see how anyone would knowingly do that, for as I student, I would expect my school to hold higher standards and to me that just reflects poorly on the school and the instructor.  I bring this story up because I get the feeling that people often forget what a great philosopher and martial artist Bruce Lee really was.  He was truly ahead of his time and ushered in a renaissance for martial arts in the United States.

Sorry to get all serious and stuff.  Feel free to resume your monk/bruiser discussions :p
