Last night, I got the sword of thunder in Stromhold.  I started the quest, but was reading on the net that the sword is no-trade.  I also read that the started part is tradeable.

My question:  Is it worth a monk character doing this quest?  Anyone else do this quest?  I have a crusader in Freeport and was thinking about giving him the starter part of the quest and letting him finish.

Thanks for the thoughts

You already started the quest? Then you have lost. The sword is no trade now.It usually goes for 2-3p on the broker, because it is needed to enhance the bone bladed claymore. For a monk, it is completely useless though.

Do the quest anyway. When you start the Bone Bladed Claymore quest, you can transform the final version into the Electrified Bone Bladed Claymore.

It still won't help you as a monk, but at least it shows you were one of the lucky ones.

Yea, found out last night that the sword had changed to no trade.  Looks like I am stuck.  Wish I had know before I started the quest?  Oh well, maybe I can mount the Bone Blade on the wall or something.
