lvl 40+ weapon

Is there any other weapon for lvl 44+guardian beside Icen Guard Langseax? I know about HoF uber weapons, but there is no hurry doing it yet.I was told before that Icen GUard Langseax quest started at EF. But I am not sure where. Anyone care to tell me where the quest start at? Thanks

Yes it starts in EF. Its a quest drop from one of the mobs, not a bad weapon. Also, there are a couple other ones that drop there such as the War Ice spear. Same deal another kill 20 so and so mobs in EF and will do up to lvl 50. After that you will need to get a Tier 5 weapon because a lot of the mobs past 50 are immune to non-magical items. Also, make sure your skills are maxed in all combat arts due to the fact that raid mobs are usually immune to one type of attack. Another good weapon, a tactition's scepter wish I could remember where I got it from but im sure its on the broker somewhere.

Evol Machete is a quest drop from Evol Ew Lizards in Feerrott. Takes about 5 minutes to complete it once you get the starter. Stats and dps are better than the Langseaxe but it does look very poor in comparison - same model as the SSoY with no detailing at all.

I have the quest and the machete. Journal tells me to examine machete because I found a sample one, but nothing happens. What is supposed to happen. Do I need the better, sample in my inventory when I examine it?
