EQ2iDB has been updated to support EoF and the database now contains 53,979 unique items.

The program version of EQ2iDB can be downloaded here: http://www.eq2idb.com/downloads/

There is also web based version of EQ2iDB available. Head over to www.eq2idb.com and click on Search DB. The online version searchable by all major stats (tier, type, slot, class, level, sta, wis, svHeat, etc.) and will also be updated with mob drop data. Here is what the search page looks like:

I’ve also tweaked the collection of mob drop data so it should be much more reliable. I’ll be getting the drop data updated for the online version of EQ2iDB in the next week or so.

Please remember that the success of this database relies completely on user submitted data. So please turn on logging today and submit your new items and drop data via the program version of EQ2iDB.

I love this product, one of the best programs around.

But, I am wondering how often do you update the items? I have about 100+ new items for you!

Ya sorry about that I was messing around with a teamspeak server and it was locking up my server. So much for that idea =)

I should have a large update to the database after the holiday. There will be more fields to search on and I'm working a system so I can get updates out faster.

Have a great holiday!

The web bases search looks like a really nice addition. Are there any major differences or advantages between the two versions?

The web version had more search options (search by stats: wis, int, str, etc.), it has mob drop information, and it gets update more often. You'll soon be able to search by zone and mob for items via the web version as well.

The downside is that people still need to run the program version to scan for and upload new item or the database will not get updated.
