![]() I hate to see it go actually but it has not worked in over a year and it is VERY clear that SOE does not plan to fix it in the future if at all. Shame really, as it was great for some stats but now it is just the "elephant in the room" that SOE keeps trying to ignore. So, seeing you are not planning to fix this please remove the eyesore.

![]() I still use it when recruiting people for my guild. It's broken, yes, but when it does work every 1 in 10 times it's extremely useful. I can see if the person I'm talking to is new to the game, is a veteran with a few lvl 90s, or is even already an alt in my guild. Knowing those things saves me a lot of time, believe it or not. I understand your sentiment, but even half-broken it's still really useful for me. |

A better solution: just bring back the old website. At least it mostly worked for that sorta thing. |

![]() I'd be happy with a functioning toon search for people who make theirs available like it is now. Make it an ugly list, I don't care, as long as the information is there. As far as the gear and AAs go, what a laugh. Let us link our names to a beetny page and it'd already be more useful. |

![]() i think it should go for a number of reasons as well the biggest for me would be privacy. when i dont want to be found i dont want to be found dont care for stalkers that try to find you to ask you a favor. |

Then mark your profiles private. If you don't want to be found that is the solution that they gave you. Now your problem is solved find another thread.

You can set it to private and no one can view it. It was usful for when people ask to join a guild. Sometimes you could identify people that had been in your guild before on alts and weren't wanted back (theives, scammers, griefers). |

![]() EQ2players is a disgrace. Everyone who works at SOE, regardless of if they have anything to do with the website, or not, should be ashamed that they are in some way associated with it.I know (and don't really care) that not everyone at SOE works on the website (well duh!). But if SOE can not get something so simple as a website right, it is hardly going to inspire us that they can competently manage the game, or manage their internet security competently, if they can not even fix a website that has been broken for multiple years.Like it or hate it, the EQ2players site reflects upon SOE. And it is broken. Kill the site and put it out of its misery.

![]() Or cut it back to features that SOE is capable of fully supporting. It's absolutely pathetic what has transpired with regards to this website. Instead of partnering with someone like Magelo back at launch, SOE wanted to grab too much of the pie. Now, we are left with the awful remnants of something that should have been a core utility. The recent layoffs actually give me some hope that SOE is finally realizing what many have said all along. Do what you are good at, and leave the rest to other people.
