Freeblood flying quest bugged

When you complete the last quest from the bat swarm, instead of it completing the mount quest like the gryphon line, it simply tells you the brood needs no further care today.

After another 12 hours or so, I hailed my bat colony again and got the message, "You have properly bonded with the colony, and have learned the power of flight."

I did not get any quest updates however and my Cloud of Bats ability still does not allow flight.

18 hours later and my swarm can now be hailed. only option given is ""soon, we will be one." and that does nothing. i believe the issue may be tied with the fact i started the adventurer griffin quest as well - and discussion with others yielded similarities - ie, they had started the adv. or ts mount quests.

Wife and i are both Freeblood as well and are experiencing the same issue reported above.

Griffon quest line shouldn't have anything to do with the bat form quest line. (Consider it completely seperate)

Has any Freeblood been able to complete their bat form flight quest successfully? (I am not currently aware of any)

On another note: Earring of the Solstice used to stack with ground bat form.

After the expansion was released it no longer stacks and my wifes bat form speed is 5%

it won't stack with selos or pathfinding. goodbye 100% run speed. turns out i spent 20 bucks on a completely useless mount that has a busted illusion (disappearing and flashing into bat form when entering/exiting combat looks horrible). i have a fb character which didn't start the grif quest lines that *should* be able to finish today. we'll see though.

edit: this nonsense pretty much sealed the deal for me. i'm done with sc.

Started the Griffen Quest as a Dark Elf changed to a Freeblood during the griffen quest and started the Freeblood quest but completed the Griffen quest so at least I had a flying mount while waiting.

Once the griffen quest completed I can no longer progress the freeblood one as it says i have bonded with the colony and gained the power of flight but I have no mount item other than the griffen.

My alt (90 Sk), on Everfrost has the same issue. Still has the bat whistle to summon a swarm pet and it gives the message they are not in need of help today.

i can confirm that this bug has nothing to do with whether or not you started another flying mount quest line. my character with which had only started the bat swarm quest series has completed it and is unable to change to flight form. gg soe on not getting this quest series into beta sooner as to bug test it/get it right. you guys said that we'd have flying mounts when the expac launched - not. can i have my twenty bucks back? this bat form is uselss - and by the time you have it fixed on tuesday i'll have the griffins.

I had one more quest to do with my bat and was expecting to do it this morning and got the same text as everyone above me! Only difference was i did complete my griffon last night but like a few said it shouldn't have anything to do with this quest but who really knows

My freeblood characters Arousalneas, Delightfulneas and Nautteneas have completed the freeblood mount quest but it will not give me a mount. I am getting the text like everyone else is.

Didnt see this thread, also having the same issue, wow how many bugs must the freebloods have, I bought the race, the mount, the deed, the weapon

Told them about A Rime bug, as you couldnt start the questline in fens, waited for hotfix

Told them about not being able to actually start the bat quest at level 86, still waiting for hotfix, but leveled to 87, and it allowed me to start quest, but apparently not finish, as I am seeing above
