Due to the new format of the totems (essentially acting like potions, and stacking) they are now considered potions by the sales crates and would now fit into a potion cabinet instead of a jewelry box.  Apologies for the confusion, it hadn't occurred to me that this would be a side effect of the change or I would have called it out in advance.

Ooh.....good to know.  The way the OP posted, it seemed some could be put in the Jewelry box and some couldn't.  So i wonder, did the OP just not try them all, or are some still considered charms?

The old ones will still be considered charms, the new ones (only the ones crafted since the update) act like potions.  So it's possible that for a while people may have a slightly confusing mix.  (However they'll all still go into salesman's crates in case of doubt!)

Except that it's not *all* totems, just a dozen or so. The rest go in the jewelry box.  I threw a /bug at QA with a list I made one combine of all new totems today for the discos, and had no old totems anywhere in inventory or on the broker, so I'm pretty sure SMILEY

Only the ones I listed would not fit in a jewlery box.  All the others that I tried would fit into existing broker jelwery box(s).  I did try to run thru the whole list of totem(s) in my book, so unless I missed a disco somewhere I should have tried them all.

Wow, that's really odd and I will have to look into this further!  How peculiar.

My list is slightly different than the OP.  Stack of every totem made post update:

Spirit Totem of the Bamboo

Spirit Totem of the Fearstalker

Totem of Escape

Totem of the Chameleon

Totem of the Enduring Spirit

Totem of the Great Chameleon

Totem of the Jaguar

Totem of the Otter

Totem of the Void

Vision Totem of the Butterfly

Vision Totem of the Owl

Vision Totem of the Turtle

do not fit into a jewelery box.  /confirm they fit into a potion cabinet.

IN ADDITION to this quirk, the ones that DO fit into a jewelery box DO NOT fit into a potion box.  So my totem seller, with 5 eucalyptus jewelry boxes has to keep both jewelry boxes and potion cabinets in his house.

edit PS please make them fit into a jewelry box or potion cabinet.  or psh an armor cabinet, I don't care.  32 types of totems x 300 each = 96 slots of space, fitting so snuggly into a Eucalyptus jewelry or potion cabinet.

Well, this was the weirdest bug I've seen all week, and I had to enlist the help of one of our friendly coders to even figure out what was happening.

Apparently the vendor crates consider that any totem that has an ILLUSION component counts as a bauble, not a poison, and therefore goes into the jewelry box instead of the potion cabinet.  Any totem that does not include an illusion goes into the potion cabinet.

There were a few ways to fix this, but the easiest and quickest one seemed to be to just allow potion cabinets to hold bauble type items (this is basically any clicky type item that is not a poison).

You will still be able to put the totems that have illusions in the jewelry boxes if you wish, but ALL totems will be able to go into the potion cabinet once this hotfix makes it live.  Current ETA (barring acts of gnome and other delays) is probably by Friday morning at the latest.

Ooooooo I hope that means my potions and poisons from long ago that can no longer be crafted can once again fit in the potion cabinet where they belong! I will be inordinately pleased if they do

(I keep them and have them priced not to sell but to display as what once was.. the potions and poisons which were named for various players at that time)

*small, quiet voice from somewhere in the peanut gallery*

why not make a sales crate solely for woodworker items?  putting totems in a potion cabinet makes about as much sense as putting them in a jewelry box.

I'm trying to remember why, it's been ages.  I recall they kinda threw us a bone with Totems going in the Jewelry Box.

That reminds me, need to go buy a poison box.

Because the vendor containers are coded to look at the item's "type", they can't tell what made the item.  So, we have a weapon rack, we don't have a weaponsmith rack.  SMILEY

Make a bauble box, it can be a new recipe.
