The "On Take Hostile Action" function is still going to be in GU58 for the PVP Server Ruleset correct? As per the feedback given at the last Fan Faire, and the assurance in this post that it would:

http://forums.station.sony.com/eq2/...topic_id=484646

Me and members of my guild were greatly looking forward to this change on the Nagafen Server, to be quite honest the ease of fleeing rather then fighting in Open World PvP is one of the most frustrating things to encounter currently with how easy it is for even lower level characters to aquire 60-80+ percent out of combat run speed with mounts and equipment/spells. And with the tighter level ranges applied to Open World PVP in the next GU this change would be a great step in "bringing back risk to open PvP" as Olihin put it in his original post.

I was just wondering if some clarification could be given in the Patch notes recently presented for GU58 located at:

http://forums.station.sony.com/eq2/...topic_id=488352

There is no mention of the "On Take Hostile Action" change for the PVP Server Ruleset under the "PVP General" section of the GU58 notes as there should be. In fact the only mention of anything similier to the "On Take Hostile Action" change that was promised to be making its way to the PVP Server Ruleset as per the Fan Faire feedback is this one line in the "Battlegrounds General" section of the notes which states:

"Attacking a player in a BG will pull that player into combat."

I am hoping this is only an oversight in the notes but to be sure some developer clarification on the matter would be much appreciated.

We are no longer considering the forcing you into combat when hit change.  With immunity being limited to cities and newbie areas via the Carnage Flag and known quest hubs, we don't feel that adding this would benefit PvP in a positive way.

What we will have is the 60 second timer upon zoning, re-spawning.   So most open areas will not allow you to AFK without risk.

I need to update the OP with all the changes and updates based on feedback.   I apologize for the confusion.

Geuss I found the answer to my own question buried in the original thread, disappointing as it may be.
