I havent played in about a year, I had a level 32 or so Paladin. I returned tonight, paid for my account, streamed the client and when I log on my character isn't available to choose, It only gives me the option of creating a new character...Why is this? I'd like my character or my money back.

Greetings,

Judging by the join date in your profile, Jan 28 2010, I'd guess that you're probably logging into the wrong account.  Please contact our support line through phone, e-mail, or chat support and we'll help you locate the missing account/characters.  The following link contains all of our basic contact information:

http://help.station.sony.com/cgi-bi...p?p_faqid=10404

Sadly, I wont be able to find it for you over the forums since it requires collecting some personal information.

I've only ever had one account, and I looked at the payment history, it's the same account I paid for when I played. This is just the first time i've logged onto the forums.

If you PM me with your account name I should be able to confirm whether or not this is the same account you were using previously.  That said, we would still need you to contact by phone/e-mail/chat in order to verify ownership and provide you with account information.

If you are logging into the correct account then the only possibility is that the launcher you're using is set to the wrong region.  Do you know what server you played on previously?

Ok, it sounds like you're logged into the wrong region.  In the station launcher you'll need to select Station > Languages and then select English with the UK flag.  That will set you to the correct region.

Sorry, I was editing my post when you responded.  Reposting below so it will show the thread as updated:

Well, the character transfer service will allow you to move the character to a server in a different region, but that service has a charge associated with it.  That's probably not what you want to do.  I just noticed you mention using the streaming launcher.  Please try these steps and you should be able to access the characters again.

Open the launcher

Select 'options' in the uppper left corner

Choose 'EU English' in the 'Regions' drop-box and select save

That may require another short update but that should allow you to play your old characters again.

You can still play on the EU servers while in the United States. They regions are not IP restricted or anything.

If you wanted to transfer, though, the charge is $25 per character.  To do so you need to log in with the character you want to transfer, open the marketplace, and go to the services tab.  In that window you can buy a character transfer token that will allow you to transfer.  Let us know if you have any questions.

Ok thanks, the reason i'd want to change though is to be on a US server, with the 5 hour time difference it's hard to catch a time with lots of people on, as I usually play at night here.

That certainly makes sense.  Please let us know if you have any further questions.
