Computer reboots at character select

I finished updating my game and I get to see half a second of, what I'm pretty sure, is the character select screen. After that my computer just reboots as if I had hit the reset button on the front.

Have you performed any hardware upgrades for your computer lately? The error you're describing usually occurs when a power supply is unable to provide enough power for the system to continue operating. That would be especially likely if you just installed a new graphics card or other device with a large power drain.

You might want to check for heat issues as well. Check the fans/vents on your case and on your graphics card and CPU. Make sure they are clear of dust and debris and that they are spinning properly. Especially with summer heating everything up, that would be a possible cause.
