When I play my conjuror there are a few pet buffs that go red as if I am out of range to cast them yet I am within range to cast them, and when I do cast them they do work.  I have been having this problem for quite awhile, but never bothered asking if other classes had similar issues.  Does anyone know how to resolve this?

It seems like the code that determines the shading on your hotbars isn't the same as the code when you actually go to cast the spell. Your pet is probably either just barely inside range or is under the world or something similar on your appearance. The shading/coloring seems to be client-based, as I get the same thing if someone gets the height bug where they appear to be straight down, but if I run to near where they actually are I can still cast buffs/spells on them.

So given how pets can get into some weird places and weird pathing, that would be my guess.
