It's not often I get to scoop Kiara! Spotted on Twitter this morning was the SOE Fan Faire official announcement!

So.. the question now is.. Who all is planning on going?! I booked the time off at work the minute I saw the Twitter on my Blackberry today. Put a client on hold for 20 minutes so I could take care of it as a matter of fact. Man has got to have priorities after all! XD

I've never been one to ask for a handout, but how about a contest of some sorts where someone could win a trip to FanFair? Maybe not this year, but next. I would love to go to FanFair one year but I know that I could never afford the trip.

yeah... so what do you have to do to win that? And isn't it going to be announced AT FanFair? So what... you have to get there FIRST and then get reimbursed? This is just a popularity contest..... plain and simple.

Its more about people who are active and helpful in the SOE community. Last year the winner was notified prior to Fan Faire and the appropriate travel arrangements were made. Don't know how much notice they get though.

Right... so if I don't have oodles of time to run a website, write a blog, create a wiki, reply to 1000 posts a day, or play on TEST 24/7, I'm out of the running. The things I do are IN-GAME.... for my guildies. But I was talking about a way for the "average joe" to enjoy the ambiance of FanFair. Meet the community. Have a chance to rub elbows with Kiara!

Anyways.... hope everyone has a great time there. I follow things through the website as usual.

Actually, last year the nominees were nominated by the players via email. I don't believe there is any set criteria for it. We'll see when they post that its open for nominations again this year I suppose. SMILEY

Co-worker plays golf. Hubby plays golf. Both are are going to Vegas. Ya know I'll be working more than playing anyway, why shouldn't my hubby enjoy some of the nicest golf courses around?

He just can't pack any clothes if he takes the clubs.
