So I guess SOE devs do expect most everyone to get their mythicals before the next expansion. this change will obviously make the fight easier as long as you dont have to worry about over DPSing Nex. |

![]() It probably has little to do with pre-expansion time period and almost everything to do with post-expansion. Imagine trying to kill Nexona at 90, well geared, without over-dpsing. They probably just put it in now because someone had the time to make that change and they wanted to make sure it went it with or prior to the expansion. |

![]() People have been asking for that cap to be removed since it first came in. It was always silly, and just got progressively more so as characters became stronger. |

Main Tank Group: Its just us no one else is attacking her Raid Leader: I told you - only use auto attack on her Main Tank Group: WE ARE ONLY AUTO-ATTACKING HER!! Its Failsauce by any stretch of the imagination unless a raid or guild suck so utterly badly they have to put any effort into hitting the dps cap on this TWO YEAR OLD CONTENT. |

![]() I felt the changes to Venril Sathir were ill-considered and didn't address the problems folks had with the fight. The dumb luck, the randomness. They could have made the fight all about the high and low power ranges and get rid of all the frustrating crap. Without the stuns and fears, the fight would have been all about watching your power. But instead, they made it so you can stumble through the content. You can colossally fail, survive the failure statues, survive the power drains, survive all of it, if you throw enough DPS and healers at the problem. It was a solution in search of a problem that didn't exist. But eliminating the upper DPS cap on Nexona? I have no problem with this at all. |
