![]() Does anyone know what happens with this... The Dark Caress and Unholy Weapon lines have merged into the offensive and defensive stances. Are they in BOTH stances or is one in defensiv and the other in offensive? Thanks!! |

![]() Basically, as it stands now, they are sort of in both, sort of not. The effects are there, but change depending on which stance you are in. |

![]() They should try merging some spells/CAs. My god I easily have 2 full bars of junk to spam. heh 3 if I count temp buffs, snap abilities, etc.

![]() there is no "junk" and there is no "spam", everything is a necessary tool. more spell/ca merging is a really dumb idea, at the end you will play a WoW clone where tanks push 3 buttons, kick-taunt-slash. |

![]() I just commented to what you said, the skills of an SK that "clutter" your hotbars are not JUNK, they are all of good use. But you probably don´t understand this considering your reaction to my statement. And if you only "spam" those buttons I guess you have no ides of what those spells and CAs are for. ![]() My Unholy arms is M1 but the other three spells, off/def stance and dark caress are all ad3...so did I waste money on the Unholy Arms? And for my peice of mind since I play on PVP and so can't get copied to the test server,,,,,What exactly happens to our taunts whenh we are in Off stance? Def stance?

I dropped 40 plat several weeks ago for Unholy Arms only to realize that my prior test-copy already had the Master I off/def stances. Reading through the test server popup windows on first-login clarified things for me. As it stands now, if you are in offensive stance, the threat increase associated with a taunt does not trigger. If you do not use either stance, the threat component works. Defensive stances boosts aggression (IIRC) and I believe increases the threat generation. I'm not 100% sure on this last part since I haven't been on test for a few weeks. You may have seen it posted already, but there is an enforced 5 second refresh delay when you toggle out of a stance. You can be in offensive smacking the crap out of stuff and immediately toggle off offensive stance. Taunts will work, but you won't be able to gain the defensive benefits of defensive until the 5 second delay cycles. Hope that helps. |
