I have looked on Allakhazam and eq2i at their listing for Void storms.  I know that they are not 100% updated as neither lists LP (and I know that they have storms there). However, I am a Templar, level 75 and I can not find a place to hunt these things where it is a challenge?  LP is too young, MC is too hard (heroics nearby), JW and KJ are WAY too hard.....  Am I missing some in Fens or KP?  I ran around and just couldnt find any there?  I would appreaciate any help....  thanks SMILEY

I run around Fens and KP a lot because of my quest addiction. I haven't seen any there during my travels. Perhaps someone knows an exact location for you but I've pretty much run all over both of those zones and haven't seen any. SMILEY

There aren't any in KP or Fens. Sucks and I was majorly disappointed when I figured this out as well. Your best bet would be to hit KJ. If you can't do it alone, find someone who will help you with it. It's just the one storm afterall, so at least you won't have to keep going back.

Just FYI, you can mentor down, and do the quests in a lv relavent zone where you mentor. ex: mentor to lv 40 and go to el. i read that this doesnt work, but this is wrong if you have read it as well. i mentored down to lv 40 from 80 and got my update in el, took about 3 storms though before update, but yes just find a friend, and mentor.

Go to Kunzar Jungle, there's a storm just to the left of Jinisk.I went there with the duo of L75 Monk/Warden and gained our updates there.

You only need to do a storm that is green or better once for the quest, after that you can just do grey storms.

I know that after you do the quest, you can get the shreds from any void..  It is just that first one that is getting me *grumbles*I have decided to wait for my monk friend to help me kill the one in JW...  No way will I be able to solo that area as a Templar, too many wanderers....   hehe

When I was 73 last week I was running through Loping Plains and a green one attacked me (I wasn't paying attention, I assumed they would all be grey SMILEY ). I killed it and got my update. This green one was just hanging around in the hills just outside the city. Previous to that, I had been wondering how I was going to do this quest but the green one in LP solved the problem for me.
