![]() I started playing again recently. Two days ago, downloaded the game trail, enjoyed it and decided to get back into the swing of things and purchased a new account etc. I redownloaded the launcher due to the trial one not being able to go to US servers, and started playing on US servers. Had fun, much enjoyment, called it a night. This morning, I go to my computer and try to start EQ2 and, after I click play, the computer brings up the movie screen, than it flashes a few times, and the black screen fades and I am on my desktop with the EQ2 mouse. Tried Bypassing the movie, didn't work Tried deleteing every .ini file in my EQ2 directory. This worked at first, but when I changed the resolution to 1440 x 900, it required my game restart, I restarted the patcher, followed by the play button, and I once again encountered the problem of the movie screen wiggen out. Tried uninstalling the game, to do a fresh install via downloader. When I try to Uninstall the game from add / Remove programs, it just sits at about 2% for over an hour and never moves. Never gives me a "Not Responding" condition on the System Manager also. Any ideas? Domo |

![]() You can actually disable the movie manually in the ini files. If you open up your Everquest 2 folder you will see a file named eq2_recent.ini. About 10-15 lines down you should see a line that says: cl_movie_enabled true Change it to say cl_movie_enabled false That should force the game to skip the movie.
