So I had an idea which would help the tanking crusader and SK that would help address our stat issue.

Brains Before Brawn - The Crusaders Intellegence is raised to +1 of his current Strength, so if a crusader had a str of 500 his int no matter what his stats would come up to 501.

This could be implemented in several ways for instance Intellegence end AA ability, or on our Epic as proc effect.

I think an ability like this would be a benifet crusaders as it would allow them to to focus on the mele stats that are required for tanking.  With so many different types of gear that a crusader has to get eg, mele crit/spell crit/spell damage/CA damage/INT gear etc..  We are spread out so thin and cannot focus on any one thing without a huge cost to the other things, I think an ability like this would really help.

this would solve half the itemization issue, its a good idea tho i wouldnt like to see it as a KoS aa as it would make the tree less flexible and punish crusaders who don't take it. maybe as an EoF line as theyre really isn't a must have ability in that line anyhow so it would be easy to flex into for most players. it still leaves the +melee crit and +spell crit disparity as well as the CA dmg and spell dmg issue. I am open to anything tho that lets me wear tank gear when tanking instead of the caster hybrid gear with no defense/parry

Well right now the crusaders are already pretty much punished if they do not do the int AA line, so really it's in line with design SMILEY.  There has to be an element of balance and I think that KoS lnt line would be it.  The EoF aa abilities we have are actually pretty good, and wouldn't want to see them replaced.

A temporary spell buff would work too, or a permament spell buff with some sort of mana/health cost.

Its In Line with what should be done.. Personally I think we should just ditch the INT stat for Sk's altogether, Cause the Gear is just not being made for it... Was Looking at an RE item with 32str, 32agi and 18int ... and its like [Removed for Content] 18int?!?!? Give me time, will be posting a Table on the effects gained per point of stat, us vs war... I have almost half done, and its not fun to see whats going on ;/

Uh, I vote yes.

Although I would miss having to roll on every piece of gear imaginable -

"oooh, I need that +STR +AGI for Tanking in Defensive Stance, oooh, I need that +STR + INT for 2 Handed DPS in Offensive Stance on the Melee Group, oooh, I need that + AGI for more Avoidance 'cos I don't have any, ooooh, I need that + STA + AGI for Tanking in Offensive Stance, oooh, I need that + STR + INT + WIS for when I am in the Caster Group, ooooh, I need that + STA + AGI + STR + STA for when I am in the OT Group, oooh, I need that + WHATEVER for when I switch out my helm 'cos I need my INT and STR and STA and AGI to ALL be decently high in order to be halfway effective in most Tanking encounters, oooh..."

Now lets see some real Shadowknight Only class gear drop in this game  - with +STR, +STA, +AGI, +INT, + 20% Double Attack, + Melee Crit Chance, + Spell Crit Chance, + Shiled Block Chance, + Spell Damage, + Cobat Art Damage For The Win!

I'd like to see a self buff that buffs our melee crit, DA, etc. to make it so we don't have to stack as much pure melee gear. Call it fanaticism and give it to all crusaders :p
