greetings everyoneit is time for me to move to a new house - i know about the crates and did a searchthat is all understood - my problem, if it is even a problema while ago i moved to a different server - the house and everything moved finebut in the move i had to change my characters name because of a dupe nameso as example - new name is X ... old name is Yno biggie - i am now known by the new namethe problem is - the house on new server still has Y name X can do everything the owner can do a bit concerned that if X buys a new house will the stuff in Y house move?

![]() I did exactly the same thing and had my house on the new server named with the toon name I had on the old server. I then moved without issue and the name was corrected. Don't blame me if SOE has since changed something.

I too can see where you'd be nervous about a move under the circumstances. Especially, if player x still has full rights to the house currently.However. Each character in the database is assigned a unique identifier when the character creation is completed. Now, while names are unique, they are not the identifier in the database. Typically the identifier is a number or a combination of numbers and other characters which is not accessible by the database end users (us as players in this case).So, unless Sony is using a FoxPro database from the early nineties, I don't think you'll have an issue moving your home. But, Femke makes a good point, as she typically does.
