Grey collection items on broker is not 100% right

I filtered my broker search to show just collection items and it was given me others such as larged chipped harpy molar, large worn anaz mal molar, medium broken crocodile incisor. Which never did say these items are a collectible. I had boughtone and it never did start a collection quest. I did buy a pristine gnoll tail and it started a quest but it wasn't my collection quest journal but it was put in with my other quests. It was in the menu Collection - My Gnoll Tails Collection as the quest name. So, once again collection quests are taking up quest spots. It asks so for a pristine gnoll tail and 3 tattered gnoll tails. I bought one tattered yet it never did update. When I right clicked it said I already on this item. Which is false!!! I need 3 of them to finish that quest.

Yes I agree that the crocodile, anaz mal, muhut ew etc teeth all seem to to be mis-categorised which is a pain.

I know my active collections at the moment do not count towards the quest number limit for your journal.

I'm not sure whats up with your gnoll tail collections, one collection would never require 3 of the same object. Is it possible its another quest that requires 'tattered gnoll tails' which are in fact updates acquired by killing gnolls? (this would also explain why it used a spot out of your limit for quests)

Just an update but the collection quest with the gnolls tails had vanished from quest journal. No idea why I didn't delete it or anything and after browsing the broker I am now seeing Tessa's Enchanted Key. Which is yet another non collection item where the search is filtered to collection items only.
