Off-Tank

I've been given the task of being an Off-Tank in raids. I've grouped in many instances and also changed my AA's like it was underwear. I've gone into Defensive with INT Line...i've gone Offensive with both WIS and INT lines. Hell i even put 8 in the Hate gain in STR line. I've searched in all types of Forums and it still comes down to this....i seriously dont know how im gonna be as an Off-Tank. Scouts do too much dps and they take aggro away so quick...i'm trying to catch up in doing DPS for aggro and i cant just do it. I've respeced in many different kinds of AA specs...and still nothing. I know, with all the crap that's going on, we have become useless. But i will not admit that...hell no. WE ARE ZERKERS [I cannot control my vocabulary] IT. WE TANK. WE HOLD AGGRO. I WILL NOT REROLL AS A GUARDIAN. With that said, I need help from you fellow zerkers...how could it be possible for us to be an Off-Tank. Give me anything, your version of AA specs, adornments, hell even gear with plus to hate gain..whatever. lets all brainstorm here guys. We must not fail, we must not loose faith. We WILL Prevail.

what does your offtank group consist of and what zones are you currently working on?

I offtank for a guild which is in Vp. I seriously love offtanking because its the only time i can go all out and just aggro. With the right group setup you should have not the slighest aggro issues.Besides the group set up its always your gear too. I offtank most of the mobs in offence stance. the more you hit the easier it gets.AA tree is of course as for all zerkers STR 4/4/8 STA 4/4/8/8 and my personal choice INT 4/7/8/8/1But give us some more info. PS: I hate Lyger for having Barbute of the wraithbringer SMILEY

. I cant even remember how often i went to PR and Korsha and that stupid helm never dropped for me.

How is your OT group setup? Don't let them set you up for failure with a crappy OT group.

I run with:

Zerker

Mystic

Templar (an inquisi is more dps but more benefitial to a dps group)

Assass/Swash (i prefer an assass for the poison proc)

Monk (more for him to have buffs than me)

Dirge (I love my Dirge)

If the dirge leaves the hate on me (like after dual tanking or adds tanking), the MT has no chance to keep aggro off me.

my friend, i would never encourage you to betray, berserker is a very fun class to play

but if you are frustrated, visit the guardian forum, there is a post by a number of former berserkers that switched to guardian, and what changes they saw after the switch
