![]() Let's see, in the last three days what important things has SoE done for the players. Ooooh...look, changed a earpiece to a bangle so you can were in either place. Nice!.... WoW!! They extended a Templar spell's range out to 35m, I'm sure that was critical. Let's see fixed some Defiler stuff, Dirge stuff, more Templar stuff, Bruiser stuff...ummmm. Ouch, kind of screwed over the Rangers, forcing them to respect minimum range for Eagle Talon...... ummmm.... Coercer...... Coercer.... Coercer, nope, nothing there. Well, let's go back a little further and see what is there... Some work on some chainmail stuff, stopping some aggro issues.... a Brigand fix.....well that takes us back to the GU42 install. So still nothing for Coercers other then the two "ninja" nerfs that they apparently didn't want to tell us about. You know, the 50% dps reduction on all RoK charmed pets and the reduction of the effectiveness of Channel. It's amazing how much time they have to screw us, but no time to fix us. I wonder if we could get them to let us pay them to fix us. Apparently what we pay monthly now gets us nothing. |

![]() Jeep We are getting attention from the "devs", just not type of attention we want. I never have been part of the "devs" hate this class or that class crowd but I am starting to change my mind. If you were a "dev" and wanted to eliminate a class or two to make your job easier. How would you do it? Do you go to you bosses and say I want to eliminate, Coercers because they are too hard to figure out how to properly design for? Well the management may say, "No, they are subscribers and we need subscribers. Get back in your cube and fix them." Or do you slowly stealth nerf them over a period of time and ignore badly needed fixes, thus through a stream of regular attrition, drain away players in that class. Then you go to management and say I want to eliminate Coercers. Management would respond, "No, they are subscribers and we need subscribers." But wait", says the devs, "there are only 45 Coercers worldwide!" Management answers, "Why didn't you say so, go ahead and liquidate the class, since no one likes to play them anyhow." I would hate to think thats what is going on, maybe I am just starting to get paranoid about Coercers but I am starting to wonder.... Its on SoE's hands to fix us or liquidate us. We don't have much say in the matter. Time will tell. Anyhow, my thanks to Gnorbin, who is caught in the middle of this mess, for trying to do what he can and providing some feedback.

As stated in my other posts , SOE is the devil. No other gaming company leaves classes broke like this. At least with WOW, they fix broken stuff ( might take 1/2 year) , but it gets fixed. Its the dev's job to fix stuff, and to keep players in the game. Not drive them away. There is at no point where coercer where overpowered, there was no need for the nerf. We are hands down the worse class in the game, and about the least wanted on raids, groups etc.I will for one be getting rid of everquest 2.

While I understand some in the Coercer community are unhappy, the forum rules are quite clear with regards to things like constructive posting and not making multiple posts on the same subject for the purpose of getting attention paid to your issue. A thread like "Hello? ... Anyone home at SoE?" is just trolling and there are already plenty of threads discussing similar issues. Thread closed.
