eq2 locking up with vista

Hello all. I just bought a new HP vista machine with an 8600 geforce, for my wife to play eq2 on. It runs the game well but lockes up 2 or 3 times a day. usually when we start running from a stop seems. Hoping that someone had same problem and has easy fix since i dont know too much about vista op system. Thank you.

I run vista and I can't say I've had any problems. When you load up the game make sure to right click and run as administrator. that might help. Other wise maybe card overheating??

it runs in administer . dont think the card is overheating i hope, my friend bought same cpu same day as i did he has same problem
