Plzzz there are still by far more degerous profesions then rangers..but still they can be pretty iritaitning SMILEY.Ok 1-st thing U need 2 know of a PvP against any profesion is ..U need 2 learn it.I know it`s not easy but it`s the only way 2 rock in PvP.So the best would be 2 play ranger some and get his weaknes and advanteges or at least go 2 rangers forum. If U do so U`ll learn that like 90% of dmage coming from them have just one weak point...it can be inflicted from 15m range min ...sooo just step on them SMILEY.Ofcourse they`ll try 2 keep distance then root is your freind,do not forget about 1s strife as soon as U`ll atacked,or U`ll be not able 2 cast that root. And that`s is ,ofcourse battlemage with Manashield is must coz even avarge ranger will strip your HP bar 2 half in first 3s of fight

Weak attempt at l337 speak, but whatever.Close the gap, thats how you beat a ranger.  If he gets the drop, hit him with Thwart(Encase in T8) and run to him.  Root him, make sure you are queuing your AE root while your single target is casting, chances are he is running away and it might start the AE root cast before he leaves range in the event of a resist on the first attempt.  Once rooted, close the gap again, trigger focus casting and probably manashield if your hitpoints are below 30% and nullmail has triggered, and burn his [Removed for Content] down.  The key to fighting any scout class is waiting on nullmail armor to trigger before you use manashield.  Assassins can be tricky because decap takes so much health in one chunk its pretty risky to wait on it.Also, for every scout you fight, do not neglect your DoTs.  So many warlocks skip their DoTs so they can squeeze their big nukes in while focused casting is triggered, and this does not prevent a scout from going back into stealth and using his big hitters too often.  Use Acid, War Pyre, and Dark Infestation (forget the upgrade names) and keep them running, it will save your butt more times then not.Lastly, pray to the gods that whoever you are fighting doesn't have a Pumice Stone.  Nothing worse then having nullmail and manashield stripped at the same time, you're a sitting duck at that point.
