Hi all,

I got a new system recently and I experience graphics problems when I increase the resolution too high OR increase the display settings too high. The problem that I'm experiencing seems to be texture related. The textures on some polygons will change colors and sometimes they will start flashing and the tooltips will sometimes be garbled. If I switch to windowed mode, it usually clears and then I'll switch back to full screen for a bit until it happens again. This is not something that I want to happen during fights though.

From what I've found, my monitor's native resolution is 1920x1200, but if I run the game in that resolution at higher than High Performance, I get these texture problems. If I drop the resolution to 1650x1020(something like that), I can play in Balanced with very seldom problems. But as soon as I got higher than balanced in that resolution, the texture problem gets much more frequent.

Here's the annoying part, I can run in extreme quality with a good frame rate. But, the texture issue is almost constant so it's unplayable. I've also noticed that my textures will blow up sometimes when there is a large AE fight and tons of effects are happening at the same time. Since I get a good frame rate even in extreme quality, I'm guessing that it's either the video card or the drivers not able to keep up with the texture refreshes.

Here are the key system specs:

AMD64x2 5600+ (w/dual core optimizer)3GB DDR2-5300BFGTech Geforce 7900 GT OC 256MB (w/recent Sep 18 drivers)Dual monitors(LG 24" 16:10 LCD monitor,LG 19" 4:3 LCD)SATA HD(600GB?)Vista Home Premium 32bit

Any ideas?

Edit: Do you think disabling the second monitor would help?

Thanks
