Custom Avatars?

Check out this thread, fourth post down. A fellow named Runewind(sp?) has a custom avatar of Link. I've seen some others on the forums too.How do they do this? When I check my avatars I only get to choose from the basic SoE list. Anyone know?

You have to be a VIP in order to be granted permission to use a custom avatar on these forums. SMILEY Usually it's limited to fansite staff and mods/admins/devs, but there have been forum contests from time to time in which the winner received the ability to choose a custom avatar.

(The forum software doesn't yet enfoce the 130x130 max dimensions, which is why they're not enabled for everyone.)
